Collective Haul, Well, Kind Of!

Today I have kind of a “collective” haul for you, meaning just a few items I bought on separate days, really! My hair straighteners were failing, and I wanted to get some new ones before they totally packed up so I went to Argos on the 20 th October and bought the Nicky Clarke Jewel Collection, which includes a 2000W hair dryer and ceramic hair straighteners. Luckily there was a discount offer on this set so I got it for half price at £29.99 instead of £59.99. Plus it was cheaper to buy the set than just hair straighteners from Nicky Clarke, because I got a new hair dryer, so I don’t have to worry about my current one failing, plus I wanted them because they are purple, which is my favourite colour and they match, unlike my other straighteners and dryer. On the 22 nd October I went to Superdrug and bought yet another Barry M Nail Paint, this time I bought the NEW nail effects crackle polish in 321 Gold Glitter for £3.99 and I earned 3 points with this purchase. And ye

Graze - Box #4

I forgot to cancel my order in time, so, I ended up with another Graze Box. I had no intention of getting another one until at least next year. I am also disappointed as all of the treats in my box have been sent to me before, but at least I know I like all four of them and it was only £3.49 anyway, I suppose!!! In my fourth box is.......... Use this code for a FREE box: 88WP8N9 (you must not already be a member to use this code) And a closer look at all four.... To view my descriptions of these items, please read my previous posts on them, so it saves me repeating myself. My favourite from this box is the Cheddar Gorge and Lightly Toasted Pistachios. Saturday Shopping Spree

I obviously went out shopping again today. I wanted to buy a few items anyway, such as, a face primer, concealer, eyeliner and the Barry M Nail Paint I have been obsessing about for weeks. From Superdrug I bought the Rimmel Fix & Perfect PRO Primer in 002, which is a white cream but there is no actual colour when on the skin. I had seen a video that recommended this primer so I had to go and check it out. It was a bit pricy for what it is, but I suppose it’s cheaper than most and is probably worth the money in the end. It was £6.99. I also picked up a Rimmel Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer in 010 Ivory for £5.99. I also saw this in a video, so I’m hoping it lives up to expectations. I also wanted to get another Rimmel Special Eyes Precision Eyeliner Pencil in 161 Black Magic, as I love my brown one and I always meant to buy the black one. I got this eyeliner for FREE because there was a 3 for 2 offer which meant I paid for the primer and concealer and got the c

Sunday Afternoon Haul

So sorry, but, I have yet another haul! I seem to like buying a lot lately. Oh well, here is what I bought. From Superdrug I bought two Barry M Nail Paints in 322 Purple Rain and 150 Red Glitter. I also wanted to buy NYC Lincoln Square Lavender, but they still have not re-stocked the NYC display, I’ve been waiting about a month now! L . Purple Rain is a crackle effects nail paint and it is a dark sparkly and glittery purple colour, the glitter is a dark pink colour. I cannot wait to try this over Barry M’s 308 Berry Ice Cream nail paint. Purple Rain was £3.99. Red Glitter is just a red glittery colour, very pretty and Christmassy and cost £2.99. I received 56 Superdrug Beauty Card Points. From Wilkinson’s (Wilkos) I bought two Wilko Dreamy body sprays, these are my favourite non impulse sprays; they remind me of the sort of one’s Impulse come out with. It was two for 99p so I got two. The regular price for them is 58p each. I also bought a Bath Time Body Puff, which is just

EOTD #4 - Sunday Surprise

Today I decided to use something different for my make-up, other than using my usual palettes. I also decided to use a bit of liquid eyeliner, although it went a tad wrong, which you can probably see close up, but far away it doesn’t look too bad, well good enough to wear out shopping. For a primer/base I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original and then for my eyeshadow I used e.l.f Brightening Eye Colour in Day 2 Night. I used the cream shade for my inner corners and then the brown colour for all over my eyelid and then to darken the crease I used the purple shade and I also used this along my lower lashes. For my liquid eyeliner I used e.l.f Liquid Eyeliner in Black and then for mascara I used Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion in Black. For my eyebrows I used the usual Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 002 Hazel and 2true Instant Colour Mascara in 1 Clear as a brow gel. On my face I used Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid in 004 Light Porcelain all over my face (which

Superdrug.com Haul #1

I made an order on Superdrug.com last week because I was after a few items that are sold in Superdrug, but just not in my local store. PLUS it is FREE standard delivery from the website until the 24 th December at 12am! I bought four items in total and I also received a FREE Dare/Health magazine inside the box. I bought three Barry M Nail Paints in 284 Emerald Green, 295 Turquoise and 134 Yellow. These were £2.99 each as always. The Emerald Green is just a metallic glittery dark/emerald green. The Turquoise just looks like a sky blue, but my sister has this colour and it is a very pretty bright turquoise colour on the nails, and the Yellow is exactly like it’s name. Lastly I have been waiting for this item to come into stock on the website for ages and as it is FREE shipping I had to buy it straight away and it is the MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Heaven and Earth. It cost me £4 and the colours look beautiful, I have not yet swatched the colours, but I will do s

EOTD #3 - Working Girl

Because I am now working I don’t have time to put too much make-up on in the morning, plus it can look unprofessional, seeing as though I work at a dental surgery! So I have opted for a simpler eye look lately, especially during the week whilst I am working. On my eyelids I am wearing MAC Paint Pot in Rubenesque and then on my lower lashline I have used e.l.f Eyelid Primer and then Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Half Baked and for mascara I have used Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion in Black. On my brows I used my usual Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 002 Hazel and then 2true Instant Colour Mascara in 1 Clear as my brow gel. For my face I used Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation in 004 Light Porcelain all over my face and e.l.f Tone Correcting Concealers in Rosy Beige and Ivory under my eyes and on any redness or blemishes. Today I decided to put some Benefit High Beam on my cheekbones and use my new Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent all over my fac

Boots & Superdrug Haul

I went to Boots and Superdrug today to pick up a few beauty related items. I did not get everything I intended to buy as they were not in stock. I went back to Superdrug to get the NYC Lincoln Square Lavender, but it was still not in stock, by the look of it Superdrug haven’t re-stocked for weeks, grrrrr. I also went to find the new Barry M Nail Effects Crackle in Purple Rain but my Boots haven’t stocked it yet and my Superdrug was completely sold out!!!! So I was not very happy! But I still purchased some items, especially the powder I was after. From Boots I bought the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent for £3.99 and I received 12 Boot’s Advantage Card points. And from Superdrug I bought the Barry M Nail Paint in 301 Block Orange, which I a really bright orange colour. I had I list of colours I wanted, but this was the only one Superdrug has stocked! The nail paint was £2.99. I also heard that the Carmex lip balms were half price, so I purchased two Moi
