CheapSmells Haul #1

This is going to be a very, very, very small haul! I really wanted to the try the mascara, but it wasn’t available in any of my stores, so I had to purchase it online and I happen to have come across the gift set. I already have the perfume, but it is half way done and it is one of my favourites. I bought a Katie Price Stunning Perfume Gift Set for £18.20, which includes the 100ml Eau de Parfum, 150ml Shower Gel and 150ml Body Lotion. I also bought a Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara in Very Black for £4.99. Thank you for reading my very small haul, I should have quite a few reviews coming up soon, so keep your eyes peeled! TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY! :)

Glossybox #6 - May 2012

Happy Birthday! This month is Glossybox’s birthday, so I have received their birthday box yesterday! You get your five products, as usual and two extras, a double sided pocket mirror and a pink Happy Birthday balloon! So let’s get into what I got. NOBLE ISLE Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel - 75ml Sample Size The beauty card says that this is, “An immaculate fragrance evoking the beginnings of summer”. It smells really nice and it reminds me of a Lion King perfume I had when I was a child. www.nobleisle.com Lolita Lempicka Perfume Samples Lolita Lempicka & Si Lolita - 8ml Sample Size’s The full size bottles for these perfumes are very cute indeed, as are the little samples I got, but I have to say they are not my kind of scents at all, because they smell like they would be for more mature women, but I will use them up. Lolita Lempicka is the stronger smelling of the two in a violet coloured vile and strikes me as more of a night time kind of scent;

First Haul of May!

I am hauling a few items that I have purchased recently from various different places. I was really excited about my new brush holder, I love them! From Boots I bought a Max Factor Xperience Mascara in Black, the price would have been £10.99, but I got £3 off because I had a voucher from Easter. I also got a free product from Max Factor because I bought one of their mascaras, the gift was the same for everyone but you could pick the shade you wanted, I got the Smoky Effect Eyeshadow in Bronze Haze (2), I chose this one because the colours are neutral, the price would have been £7.99. From Superdrug I just bought NYC Expert Last Nail Polish in Lights-Camera-Glitter (105), for £2.49. I had been wanting this polish for a while, but my Superdrug hardly ever restock the NYC counter, so I couldn’t get it, but I was in luck this time. From Morrisons I bought another Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory, because it was on offer at £5.99, so I bought it for when I run out of

Barry M Ice Cream Collection 2011

This collection is quite old now, but seeing as though I have all five shades I thought I would share them with you. I didn't buy them all at once but over a few months. My favourite shade is Berry Ice Cream because purple/lilac is my favourite colour. As you can tell they are all creamy matte shades and these are my favourite type of nail colours. I also like the Barry M Nail Paint in Peach Melba, it has the same finish as this collection but not part of the collection as it was released later than the five, but if you like these colours you will like that one too. Click on the photos to view them better! Berry Ice Cream (308) - Soft pastel lilac. Lemon Ice Cream (307) - Bright pastel yellow. Blueberry Ice Cream (306) - Bright pastel sky blue. Strawberry Ice Cream (309) - Soft pastel pink. Mint Cream (304) - Bright pastel mint green. 2 - 4 coats is all you need, depending on the colour. P.S. - So sorry about the state of my nails, they are very tra

Max Factor Smoky Eye Effect Eyeshadow

This is Max Factor's dual ended smoky cream eyeshadow stick, with an all over lid colour and a crease/contour colour. I got the shade 2 in Bronze Haze. Step 1 is the lid colour and Step 2 is the crease/contour colour, but you can mix and match them if you want to. On the website is says that this product is a "fool proof new tool that shades, blends and defines your eyes for this season’s sultriest, sexiest looks" and "its double-ended application system has 2 distinctive tips designed to make smoky eyes easier than ever". The make-up artists say, "for the perfect daytime smoky eye - go neutral. First blend the lighter end over your eyelid and finish by applying the darker end along the lash line and into the crease of your eye. Intensify your smoky eye for evening by sweeping the darker shade underneath your lower lashes and winging it out dramatically at the corners". Step 1 - is a metallic peach colour, with sparkle. Step 2 - is a m

e.l.f Little Black Beauty Book - Eyeshadow Edition

I bought this palette because it was on offer for £3.75 and I thought it might be nice to try out, but I was wrong! L I quite like the packaging of this product because it looks like a little black book and it is a good size for travel, but every single eyeshadow has glitter in it! The colours are beautiful and pigmented, but there are no matte shades which mean it looks like cheap children's make-up. I regret buying it because of the glitter and for the fact that I do not wear colours very often and I like neutral shades from my other palettes better. Because of those factors I will never use this palette. If I did want colour I have other palettes I can use that also have matte shades in them. £8 – eyeslipsface.co.uk Sorry I could not show swatches of the eyeshadows because I am giving this palette away to a family member and don't want stick my fingers in every shade. Let me know in the comments section if you have tried this palette and tell me wh
