Perfume Power! - Vera Wang 'Rock Princess'

I received this perfume as a gift a couple of years ago, but I had heard about it before. The bottle design is the same as the previous Princess fragrances, but it has a rock twist. It has a darker theme, a black heart with silver patterns on the front. I actually really like the bottle design, that is what appealed to me the most, plus around the neck of the bottle you can remove the band and wear it as a ring. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Peach, Raspberry & Bergamot Middle Notes: Heliotrope, Rose, Jasmine & Lily Base Notes: Cashmere Wood, Musk, Iris & Coconut To me it doesn’t really smell of anything and what I can smell is very weak and watered down. It kind of smells a bit like sweet alcohol. Although it has quite a few fruits in it, I can’t really smell any of them; I can smell the floral scents and a hint of musk, but it is not overpowering and it doesn’t last long on the skin, unless you spray tons, but the fragrance is nothing special.

e.l.f Haul #5

I have another e.l.f haul to share with you. I add the products I want to try to my wishlist until I have £30 worth for free shipping so I can get them or I wait for a free shipping code, which usually has a £10 minimum spend on it. There was a free shipping code and I had more than £10 worth of products listed, so I decided to get them. I could not get one product though, because it was out of stock, so it will remain on my wishlist for next time. As well as free shipping, e.l.f were giving away 1000 lucky bags, and I got one! So here is what I actually bought. Studio Brush Case - £5.00 here Studio Radiance Enhancer in Spotlight - £3.75 here Studio Retractable Lip Brush - £3.75 here In my lucky bag I received...... Studio Cream Eyeliner in Coffee - £3.75 here Studio Eyeliner & Shadow Stick in Green/Moss - £3.75 here Nail Polish in Fire Coral - £1.50 here I’m disappointed that I got the cream eyeliner because I already have it and I don’t particularly

Exciting Package This Morning!

Perfume Power! - Aquolina 'Pink Sugar'

I purchased this perfume because of all the hype in the YouTube ‘Beauty Guru’ community. The bottle design is very simple and classic and has feminine pink banding around the bottle. The fragrance notes are:- Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Liquorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk, Wood, Powder. To me it smells really sweet, which is quite nice, but, it makes me feel sick and gives me a rotten headache because it smells too strong and like mouldy potpourri and it comes across really woody. It does stay on the skin for a long time and lingers long after, which is bad news for me really. It also makes my sister feel sick, so it's not just me! I really hoped that I would like this scent, but to me it is disgusting. I CANNOT and WILL NOT ever wear it. Rate: 0 / 5            Re-Purchase: NEVER Product Link: click here! Boots No7 Limited Edition Beach Beautiful Eye Palette

This was a limited edition product part of a Boots N o 7 Summer Collection available in either 2009 or 2010. Shade 1 - a turquoise green Shade 2 - a light lime green Shade 3 - a light plum purple Shade 4 - a blue tinted silver Shade 5 - a light nutty brown Although the palette looks very nice, the colours are not very pigmented at all and are all shimmery. The colours are also very ashy and crease with and without an eye primer underneath! Had I have not received this product as a gift I would not have purchased it myself! It is no longer available at Boots, but you might be able to find it on eBay! £12.50 – Boots.com Let me know in the comments section if you have tried this palette and tell me what you think/thought of it. Thanks for reading! J

Perfume Power! - Harajuku Lovers 'G'

I received this perfume as an Easter gift from a family member. The bottle design is really cute. It has a doll figure cap, which lifts off and the actual bottle is clear and simple glass, it kind of has a flower shaped base. The size I have is very small, so it is handy for your handbag. And I suppose you could keep the doll for collector’s purposes, when you have used up the perfume. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Crisp Mandarin, Fresh Coconut & Apple Skin Middle Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Soft Freesia & Magnolia Vapour Base Notes: Coconut Cream, White Sandalwood & Cottonwoods To me it smells really strong for an eau de toilette. I quite like the scent because it is very feminine and quite sweet. The only thing I don’t like about it is the coconut. I don’t really like the coconut scent anyway. Other than that, it smells amazing, until the coconut hits your nose. I can also smell the floral side to it as well, the coconut does complement the flor

e.l.f Haul #4

More e.l.f, you can obviously tell I really like their products. I only made my order because it was free shipping if you spent more than £10, so I bought the few items that were on my wishlist, otherwise I would have waited a lot longer, until I had reached the £30 mark, like I usually do. I wanted their regular £1.50 line blush in Shy, but it is not on the website anymore, unless you buy the small panned one. I wanted the full size because it is a dupe for MAC Well Dressed (which I have) and it’s bigger, so you get more for your £1.50. Powder Puffs (set of 4) - £1.50 ( here ) Studio Blush in Tickled Pink - £3.75 ( here ) Studio Blush in Gotta Glow - £3.75 ( here ) Studio Daily Brush Cleaner - £3.75 ( here ) Thanks for reading :)

Glamour Magazine - July 2012

The July 2012 Glamour Magazine went on sale in the UK yesterday and I was excited because you get a free mini Benefit product. There are three products to choose from, That Gal Face Primer (7.5ml), The POREfessional (7.5ml) and BADgal Lash Mascara in Black (4g). I got the mascara and pore minimiser. I wanted all three but Morrisons had sold out of the one with the face primer, but I will eventually get that one too. I don’t actually read the magazine and I only buy them if there is a free gift I want to try out. I do look through when I buy it, but it doesn’t interest me because it is full of adverts and pictures. The magazine is £2, and there are not free gifts every month, but for August 2012 there is. I will do a mini review on all three products when I have tested them out. The full size products are listed below, BYE! J That Gal Face Primer - £21.50 (11ml) ( here ) The POREfessional - £23.50 (22ml) ( here ) BADgal Lash Mascara - £16.50 (8.5g) ( here )
