Perfume Power! - Britney Spears 'Midnight Fantasy'

I bought this perfume at the same time as Fantasy and Hidden Fantasy, as I have a Fantasy themed post planned. The bottle has a glass indigo spherical shape with light icy blue diamantes. The band around the neck of the bottle is a metallic lilac shade and the cap is rounded and made of translucent indigo plastic. Lastly, it has the regular perfume spritzer to dispense the aromatic liquid.                                                     The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Plum & Sour Cherry Middle Notes: Iris, Orchid & Freesia Base Notes: Amber, Musk & Vanilla The bottle is beautiful! It is described as being blue, but I would say it is indigo because it always looked purple to me before I bought it! The vanilla, iris and plum notes stand out the most and it is a strong scent. It would appeal to any age, as it is not too floral and not too fruity. It has just the right balance of notes and I think it is lovely. It does last quite a while on the s

Review: Stila Cheek Duo in Strawberry Cream Pop

I happened to come across an internet advert with this product picture on and it sold me straight away! I was suckered in by the packaging once again (aren’t all of us?)! There were two shades and I chose the lighter pink with a more neutral bronze. The packaging is in the old Stila cardboard style, which has been re-promoted for their twenty year anniversary. It has a circular shape and the design is pink and white carnival stall themed with ice lollies surrounding the Stila brand name. When you remove the lid, it reveals two semi-circle pans with the two powder shades in. You can use any brushes you like to apply the products and the formula is very pigmented, soft and powdery. You get 7.4g of product altogether and the shade Strawberry Cream Pop has a light shimmery bronze shade and a light Barbie pink shade. This duo is supposed to give you a natural glow with a pop of pink. The formula should be soft, powdery and blend like a dream. The packaging is lovely and th

Graze - Box #15

I was hoping to receive the last two packets I wanted to sample in this box, but I got four tried and tested packers instead. Some of these I really enjoyed from previous boxes though. A closer look at my treats. Honeycomb Flapjack “Rustic rolled oat flapjack with honeycomb and milk chocolate” I have had this plenty of times before and it is really tasty. The British Barbecue “Basil baguettes, rosemary crostini, smoked almonds & seeds” I’ve had this before too and I love all the savoury snacks from Graze, especially the rosemary crostini. Lightly Toasted Pistachios “Whole pistachios toasted with a little salt” I love pistachios. Need I say more? Herby Bread Basket “Basil baguettes, garlic crostini and oregano rice crackers” This is one of my favourite’s packets because it is so savoury and I love the herbs and spices. My favourites from this box were Herby Bread Basket and Pistachios. Although I did enjoy this box, I

Review: Maybelline Electro Baby Lips

I have been interested in the baby lips for a few years now and I was going to purchase a couple from the regular range, but I soon changed my mind when I saw these beauties advertised! The packaging is quite simple, but very nice. It has a black plastic base with a clear plastic cap, so you can clearly see each shade. The font colour reflects what each shade looks like and the name is clearly printed on the side. The black base twists up to dispense the electrified balm. The formula is very smooth and really glossy. You get 4.5g of product in each stick. I picked up two of the shades:- Strike A Rose - soft deep pink (smells of passionfruit) Pink Shock - fuchsia berry pink (smells of raspberries) These balms claim to offer eight hours’ worth of hydration with a sheer neon/electric kick of colour and renew your lips over time. I really love these lip balms! They are very creamy and glide on to your lips; they also feel smooth and hydrating. The coverage can

Glossybox #11 - August 2014

This month’s Glossybox has arrived! I received it this morning and it is the three year anniversary box. The box design is slightly different and more like it used to be, but still in the newer brighter pink colour. It also has different tissue paper and a 3 sticker, instead of the regular Glossybox logo. So let’s see what I got:- Kryolan Cream Highlighter in Cashmere | £12.95 | Uk.Kryolan.com | This brand is not new to me and I kind of find this product odd. I am interested in trying it, but I am tempted to try and make it work as a cream eyeshadow instead of highlighter! Figs & ROUGE Hand Cream in Mango Mandarin | £6.95 | FigsAndRouge.com | I’ve had a lip balm from this brand before, which I received in a Glossybox. It smells lovely and I will try it, but I am not big on hand creams! YVES ROCHER Nail Polish in 14.Rose | £3.60 | Yves-Rocher.co.uk | This product is the Birthday bonus! You get a mini size of this and it is a really pretty light

Graze - Box #14

I have another Graze box to share with you. I only received one new packet this time, but a couple of the packets are old favourites of mine! A closer look at my treats. Graze’s Popping Corn “Slightly sweet” I have had this many times before and who doesn’t like popcorn? Oven Roasted Salt & Vinegar Nut Selection “Salt and vinegar almonds and peanuts” I have had this before too and it is very nice and a change from just salted peanuts/almonds. Cheddar Gorge “Cheese cashews, salsa corn sticks & herb crackers” I have had this packet numerous times before too and it is one of my all-time favourite Graze snacks! I LOVE cheddar gorge! Jalapeno Hot Chips “Jalapeno jam with flax tortilla chips” The chips were quite nice and you could taste the small seeds. They were not salty at all. I didn’t try the dip, but it did smell nice. My favourite packet from this box has to be the Cheddar Gorge! I loved the other three pa

Birchbox #3 - August 2014

I have been patiently waiting for this box ever since I saw the sneak preview on Facebook and it looked promising to be a great box, or so I thought! Let’s get into what I got first, before I continue with the negatives! N4. High Performance Hair Care Super Comb Prep & Protect | £20 (Full Size) - Number4Hair.com | This is a leave in spray conditioner in a mini sample size. I will probably give this product a miss seeing as though I have no interest in hair. I must say that it does smell quite funky though! Chella Highlighter Pencil in Ivory Lace | £15.95 - Chella.com | This is a product that interests me and it is full size. The shade looks a bit concealer like, but I have yet to try it on my skin. NUDE Progenius Omega Treatment Oil | £58 (Full Size) - NudeSkinCare.com | This is a totally new brand/product to me, but I will give it a go. I have the 5ml sample size and I just can’t believe how much it is for the full size! VASANTI BrightenUp! Enzy

Perfume Power! - Britney Spears 'Fantasy'

I decided to buy this because I am planning a Fantasy inspired blog post and although I disliked this scent when I tested a few years ago, I needed it to complete my Fantasy collection for the upcoming post. The bottle has a glass hot pink spherical shape with gold diamantes. The band around the neck of the bottle is a slightly darker hot pink shade and the cap is rounded and made of translucent hot pink plastic. Lastly, it has a regular perfume spritzer to dispense the liquid. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Kiwi, Red Litchi & Quince Middle Notes: White Chocolate, Jasmine, Orchid & Cupcake Base Notes: Musk, Orris Root & Wood The bottle is gorgeous and very girly. The scent however, is not how I remember it when I first tested it a few years ago. I remember it smelling really orangey, but it doesn’t come across very fruity at all! It does smell quite sweet, but not sickly. It smells quite dry, if that makes sense? It is a nice delicate scent, but

Graze - Box #13

Hello. Surprisingly I have another Graze box for you today! I joke of course. I may cancel my subscription after a couple more boxes, seeing as though I have almost had everything on my try list. I am still yet to try two particular packets (Chocolate Pretzel & Jalapeno Hot Chips), but I am sure that they may be included in my next box. Anyway, here is what I got inside this box:- A closer look at my treats. Honeycomb Flapjack “Rustic rolled oat flapjack with honeycomb & chocolate drizzle” I have had this flapjack several times before and it is very yummy! Black Pepper Pistachios “Pistachios roasted with black pepper” The pistachios are quite tasty, and you get the after taste of pepper after you have eaten a few. El Picante “Paprika baguettes, spicy chilli peanuts & jumbo corn” I really enjoyed this packet. The baguettes had just the right amount of paprika spice and were nice and crunchy. The peanuts were also crunchier tha
