I got home after 3pm today and found a parcel, at first I thought my Mum had been online shopping, but then I saw it was addressed to me! I thought to myself, I haven’t ordered anything, so what is this? So when I opened it I was surprised to find a book. I don’t really read them, but I like the sound of this one. It is Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini and it is the first book of a series, the second book is called Dreamless. I LOVE the book cover design! On the back of the book it says, “When shy, awkward Helen Hamilton meets Lucas Delos for the first time, she thinks two things: the first, that he is the most ridiculously beautiful boy she has seen in her life; the second, that she wants to kill him with her bare hands.” “An ancient curse means Lucas and Helen are destined to loathe one another. But sometimes love is stronger than hate, and not even the gods themselves can prevent what will happen next...” It sounds like the saga is inspired by Greek Mythology

I received this perfume as a present for my 17 th birthday. The bottle design is very simple and feminine. It is diamond inspired, with a diamond shaped cap and the bottle is a classic Hollywood style shape. There is also a silver coloured plastic band around the neck of the bottle, which displays the perfume name, as well as Katie’s name. The fragrance notes are:- Mandarin, Jasmine, Patchouli & other unknown notes, possibly floral! To me it smells fruity and floral, with a hint of musk. I can smell the mandarin, which I think gives the scent an oriental feel. It is slightly a mature scent, which still smells young and fresh, so it appeals to women of all ages. I couldn’t find a list of the full notes, but if you were to smell it, you may be able to pick certain notes out. It also lasts quite a while on your skin. I have another nail polish haul, and it definitely won’t be my last because, I LOVE Essie nail polishes! ! ! ! From CheapSmells.com I bought an Essie Nail Polish in Watermelon for £4.95. I was going to buy it for full price soon, but when I was browsing CheapSmells I saw an advertisement for discounted Essie polishes. It said the discount was for one day only, so I knew I had to buy it then. But the price the website will be selling them at is £6.95 so I only got £2 off mine. Both prices are still great compared to the RRP of £9.95 each. Shipping was free for a weekend on Superdrug.com so I bought a Barry M Nail Paint in Magenta Glitter for £2.99, I FINALLY got it! I bought these online a while ago, mainly because I was obsessed with finding an apple scented body spray and I found one from Natural Collection and then I saw two other scents I wanted to test. I got all three because they were not sold in my store and I knew they would smell nice and they can also be used as room and linen sprays. There are a total of six scents on the site at the moment. Wild Strawberry, which my sister had and we both didn’t like it because it was really strong and sickly sweet. I also tested the Ice Musk and I didn’t like it and I haven’t tried the Vanilla, but I’m not keen on vanilla scents anyway and I know I wouldn’t like it. The last one is Samphire and Sea Minerals, which I haven’t tried before, but it sounds nice and on reviews people have said it is really clean and fresh smelling, so I might have to go and have a sniff sometime. I think there are more scents, my Boots store only sell three or four and they are the scents I don’t like (Ice Musk and
