I’ve been hearing about these eyeliners for a while and I finally decided to pick them up. I also wanted the cake pot versions as well, but they were not stocked on FeelUnique.com when I placed my order. There are also liquid versions, but I am not very good at applying liquid eyeliner, especially with the painter brush applicators some have. ABOUT THE PRODUCT The pencil design is quite simple, they are all one colour and the colour of the pencil matches the shade it is. I was browsing the beauty tag on Instagram and came across a post about the e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette. The majority of the comments on the post were very complimentary towards the palette. I decided to purchase it and see for myself. I also haven’t tried any e.l.f products for the longest time. I decided to purchase it off FeelUnique.com, so I could pick up some other items I wanted. It is easier to get it all from one place and I also used some gift vouchers I had towards the cost of my haul. When my order arrived, the e.l.f palette was damaged and the delivery box looked like it had been through a lot (ripped, bent and beat up). Some of the eyeshadows were just smashed to smithereens! As you can see from the title of this post, I re-subscribed to Birchbox again! My last box was February 2016, so it has been a while. I only subscribed again this time because I saw the preview of it on Facebook and I really wanted the tin. The boxes are usually made out of cardboard, but this month they have chosen a very pretty and re-useable tin. For those of you that haven’t subscribed to Birchbox before, the boxes are £10.00, plus £2.95 postage. The courier who delivers your box is Hermes. I actually hate Hermes because they never actually deliver my parcel; they throw it over my garden gate and leave it in the garden! Also, if you miss them, they leave you a ‘Sorry I Tried to Deliver’ card on the street and it doesn’t have any details on the card for you to contact them to arrange re-delivery, they are a horrible company! I went a little crazy last weekend and purchased quite a bit from FeelUnique! I buy stuff from there all of the time, but I don’t usually buy this much in one go. I accidentally made my first ever NARS purchase. It popped up on the homepage and I just clicked it. It is the NARS NARSISSIST Unfiltered 2 Cheek Palette . It has six shades of pink toned shades for your cheeks and I am very excited to test them out. Plus the packaging is so sleek! I got two Urban Decay Eyeshadows in Mildew and Maui Wowie . I picked up three products from NYX; NYX High Definition Eyeshadow Base and two NYX Slide On Pencils in Purple Blaze and Tropical Green . I also got The Vintage Cosmetic Company Slanted Tweezers in Rose Gold , because they are rose gold! Lastly, because I spent a certain amount of money I could get two free samples. I have a small MAC haul for you today; I purchased everything via the MAC website. I have been buying a lot over the festive period, but I am still waiting for everything to arrive. Nevertheless, there will be more hauls coming soon. I didn’t buy that much because I didn’t want to go too crazy because I have my eye on a lot more products from other brands. I finally decided to get the Eye Kohl in Smolder (intense black) . I have heard about this eyeliner pencil for years, but after swatching I noticed that it is not quite as black as the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion . The UD pencil has a more creamy texture and a sort of glossy finish, which is probably why it is a slightly deeper black. I also got a Magic Dust Eyeshadow in Forward March (peachy gold shimmer) . I was browsing RosesBeautyStore and came across this set and bought it straight away. It is exactly the sort of set that appeals to me and Urban Decay doesn’t release kits/sets very often. The packaging for the kit is purple themed and kind of amethyst inspired. It has a card sleeve that you slide off to reveal the box itself, which is made of cardboard. It has a flip up lid with a magnetic close and when you lift it up there is a black insert which contains the seven products. Six of the products are full size and the seventh is a sample size. The insert can be removed and you can re-use the box. You get a 2ml sample tube of the Eyeshadow Primer Potion in the Original shade, which dries transparent. The full size 10ml tube is worth £16.00 and is available in three shades. I have used this primer before and already own a couple of tubes. It is a great primer and a trusted favourite of mine. You get three full size 1.5g eyeshadows, which retail for £14.00 each. ...

I always look forward to the themed Glossyboxes and this box just looks lovely. I love the colours and the little love design on the lid (better than last February’s box!). Inside the tissue paper is the same hot pink colour as the base of the box and the tissue confetti is white. Here is what I got in my Valentine’s Day themed Glossybox for February:- Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner in Dark Brown | 0.3g - £3.99 | This is a nice product. I like the colour and it could also be used for your brows because it is so soft and the tip is quite fine. It definitely doesn’t stay on for twenty-four hours. It is slightly water resistant, but not waterproof. It doesn’t compare to the Urban Decay ones. MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss in Rapture | 3.2ml - £3.50 | This looks like a chubby lipstick at first and when you take the cap off, it reveal the wide, flat lip brush applicator.
