Yesterday I unboxed the 3ina The Cream Eyeshadow in 532 .   Today, I unboxed the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Therapies Mayan Vanilla & Orange Blossom Deep-Conditioning Treatment .   ABOUT This is the 40ml deluxe size worth £13.00.   ·         Super Conditioning ·         Boosts Elasticity ·         Moisturises ·         Strengthens ·         Leaves Hair: Bouncy, Silky, Shiny & Manageable ·         Suitable for all Hair Types   MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS I’ve had products from this brand before. I’m not really into haircare, but I can appreciate a hair mask, especially because I colour my hair. This one does smell quite nice. It is a pre-shampoo treatment. The direct...

LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #5 - September 2020

Last month’s box was the Sunkissed Edition and this month we have the Birthday Edition with a peach, white and gold themed box. It is LookFantastic’s sixth birthday this month. The six items inside the box should be worth over £77.00 altogether and there is an extra free gift included! Here is what I received this month:- brush works Jade Roller | £9.99 | This face roller is supposed to alleviate puffiness and tension in the face. You can use it to massage serums, moisturisers and face masks into the skin. I already own a face roller and I do use it a few times a week. I notice a slight difference when I’ve used it. I will give this one a go as it is quite different to the one I already have. This one has a smaller roller on one side that might be better for under my eyes. | Full Size - £9.99 | ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud | 30ml - £5.10 | This hair mask is a mineral rich treatment mask that is supposed to deeply condition, to leave hair soft and smooth and the...

LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #2 - June 2020

I decided to re-subscribe to the LookFantastic Beauty Box and I pre-ordered my June box on 22 nd May. It arrived yesterday (3 rd June) and I couldn’t wait to unbox it. My first and last LF Beauty Box was September 2014; I can’t believe it has nearly been six years! I initially un-subscribed due to the price (£15.00) and I mostly received skin care items and at the time, I was only really interested in make-up. I already saw a sneak peek for the June box (Staycation Edition), which is why I re-subscribed (the May box was sold out anyway). It was to supposed to be worth over £61.00 and the items would arrive in a travel bag. I knew I would receive a shower gel and possibly a hair brush as they were pictured. The postage for Look Fantastic is usually £2.95, but I believe it is free for Beauty Box subscriptions only. Here is what I received:- LookFantastic Beauty Bag | £12.00 | This is a cute aqua blue zipped travel bag, which contains the rest of the beauty products. ...

Birchbox #8 - February 2019

My last Birchbox was July 2018 and I periodically re-subscribe. I only re-subscribed this month because you could get a FREE The Beauty Crop Espresso Yourself Palette. This is a sort of Valentine’s Day themed box and you get three postcards and two 15% off gift vouchers for the Birchbox website. You can use the vouchers to purchase any items you receive in your boxes. This is my first drawer type Birchbox. The last time I was subscribed it was your usual cardboard box with a lid and I think the products also came inside a little drawstring bag inside the box. Here is what I received this month:- LOC Liquid Shimmer Shadow in Eclipse I actually got to choose my shade of this product, there was Eclipse ( rose gold ) or Moonlight ( taupe ) available. This product is supposed to give you a subtle hint of colour and shine that can be layered for a bolder look. It has a water based formula and it should feel lightweight and comfortable on your lids, whilst providing long lasti...

Glossybox #24 - January 2019

This is the first Glossybox of the year and it is the second one I have received since I re-subscribed in December 2018. AVANT SKINCARE DELUXE HYALURONIC ACID VIVIFYING FACE & EYE NIGHT CREAM This is the most expensive product from the box and it is an anti-ageing moisturiser that is supposed to be hydrating and rejuvenating. It is also supposed to be smoothing without adding shine to your skin and it should have a fresh scent. I have actually tested this and the first time I used it, my skin did look shiny and kind of feel greasy. The second time I used it, my skin still looked shiny and when I touched my skin I could tell there was something on it. I don’t think this means it doesn’t work, I think it just needs a little time to settle on the skin. I don’t know what it looks like if you apply make-up over the top. My skin is kind of oily in some place, mostly the t-zone and my cheeks, neck and nose can be quite dry. | 50ml - £98.00 | BATISTE RETHINK DRY SHAMPOO IN HY...

Glossybox #23 - December 2018

It is not long now until New Year and as you can see from the title, I have reactivated my Glossybox subscription, AGAIN! My last box was September 2016. I got this box for £7.00 as there was a ‘first box’ discount offer and the postage was £3.25. I couldn’t get the Christmas ‘All That Glitters’ box, so I was sent this one instead. The sticker on the side of the box said this was the ‘Glossy V11 Dec 18’ box. The products I received are:- WET ONES BE FRESH WIPES I have seen these wipes before in supermarkets and they are just usual wet wipes. I suppose they come in handy, especially if you carry them in your bag. | 12 Wipes - £1.15 | LUNA BY LUNA TRANSLUCENT POWDER I’ve never heard of this brand before and I have only ever tried one translucent loose powder before and I didn’t see what the fuss was about. I will give this one a go though because it is white based and I think the last one I tried was more skin tone based in colour. | 5g - $22.00 | GARNIER ULTIMATE ...

Birchbox #6 - June 2018

As you can see from the title of this post, I re-subscribed to Birchbox again! My last box was February 2016, so it has been a while. I only subscribed again this time because I saw the preview of it on Facebook and I really wanted the tin. The boxes are usually made out of cardboard, but this month they have chosen a very pretty and re-useable tin. For those of you that haven’t subscribed to Birchbox before, the boxes are £10.00, plus £2.95 postage. The courier who delivers your box is Hermes. I actually hate Hermes because they never actually deliver my parcel; they throw it over my garden gate and leave it in the garden! Also, if you miss them, they leave you a ‘Sorry I Tried to Deliver’ card on the street and it doesn’t have any details on the card for you to contact them to arrange re-delivery, they are a horrible company! But, hay ho, Birchbox uses them as their official courier and I did get my parcel in peace this time. Mini rant over! This is the five year birthda...
