Haul: End of June

Today I am going to haul products I have purchased this much. I haven’t really bought much, but the majority of the items were necessities and I thought I would share them with you anyway! From Boots I bought their Vitamin E Gentle Eye Cream (£2.54) . I was nearly running out of my Soap & Glory eye roll on and decided I wanted to try something different and the Boots one seemed like a good one to try because it is inexpensive. I also bought another Soap & Glory Peaches And Clean (£8) because I have nearly finished my current bottle and the packaging has been re-designed. I picked up two bottles of my favourite hand gel, Soap & Glory Hand Maid (£2.50) . Lastly from Boots I bought a Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Guava (£3.99) . From FeelUnique.com I bought a Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze (£4.49) because it was 10% off and it was a shade I really wanted. I also received a free 1.5ml sample sachet of *DARPHIN MELAPERFECT Anti-Dark Spots Perfect

Urban Decay X Oz The Great and Powerful 'Theodora' Palette

“because we all have a good side and a bad side” As you can tell from the title of this post, I am going to review the Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette from Urban Decay, which is Limited Edition. I decided to choose the Theodora palette, which is the bad witch. I chose this one because when I first saw the palettes I thought it was just the tin you got and I really liked the Theodora tin because it is more Wizard of Oz looking than the Glinda palette. I was looking for just the tin for when I buy more Urban Decay eyeshadows and BeautyBay only had one design. I was so excited to see the picture of the Oz tins, so naturally I wanted one! As it turned out they were full palettes that included eyeshadow, eyeliner and a lip gloss stick. Luckily the palette I wanted was the neutral of the two because although the Glinda palette is very pretty, I would have hardly used it. The Theodora palette is made of black plastic and has a really beautiful design on the front, whi

Urban Decay X Oz The Great and Powerful 'Theodora' Palette (Swatches)

This is the swatches part of the Oz Palette review. All of the eyeshadow shades are Limited Edition, but the eyeliner and lip crayon are part of the regular line of make-up. There are eight shades of eyeshadow included in the palette, and they are:- Broken A pale cream beige with a satin finish. It is similar to Foxy , but not as yellow toned. Beware A medium caramel brown with a matte finish. It is similar to Buck , but more orange toned. Bewitch A dark charcoal brown with a satin finish. It is similar to Hustle , but it is slightly greyer in tone. West A deep brown with a metallic finish. It is similar to Busted , but it is more mahogany toned. Spell The first half is a deep shimmery black with a satin finish. It is nearly identical to Creep , but brighter, more buttery looking and more pigmented. The second half is a yellow gold with tonal glitter and a metallic finish. It reminds me of a shadow version of Greed Primer Potion

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I received this product as part of the Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette, which also includes a lipgloss crayon. I am going to review this product as a whole, even though I only have it in one shade. This looks like a standard eyeliner pencil, but the design is a lot nicer looking. The majority of them have the silver lid, but I have noticed that a couple of the shades have a different colour lid. Each barrel of each pencil is a different colour, to clearly show the colour of each shade. Zero is a soft black shade and it is not the darkest black Urban Decay do. This shade is part of the regular line and mine is the 0.8g sample size, the full sized product is 1.2g. Like the majority of pencil eyeliners, you have to sharpen it to dispense more product and the formula is smooth and creamy. This eyeliner is supposed to be creamy, long lasting, waterproof, highly pigmented and velvety soft. It is also said to contain moisturising ingredients, which makes it very safe f

Empties #8 - May & June 2013

I hope you don’t mind that I combined two month’s worth of empties. I decided to combine them because looking back at the majority of my empties posts, all the products seem to be necessities like mouthwash, deodorant and so on and I think writing about the same thing over and over again, could be quite boring to read. So I thought within two months there should be some interesting products to mention. Enjoy. Right Guard Women Total Defence 5 48H Invisible Power Anti-Perspirant Deodorant – 250ml + 150ml This was my first time using this deodorant and I love it. It smells really nice and fresh and definitely does the job it is marketed for and I have already re-purchased it, several cans to be exact! The only problem is that shops sell the 250ml at various prices, for example, in Boots it is £3.19 but in Asda it is £1.50! Price - £2+ Morrisons So Clear Dual Action Moisturiser – 100ml This was my first tube of this moisturiser and I really like it. It is lightweight and
