MAC Haul #1

I have always looked at MAC products but I never thought I would buy any seeing as though they are way over priced and there are better products in drug stores, but I relented on this occasion because of two factors. One I really wanted Rubenesque Paint Pot and Two the delivery charge was FREE for a short period of time, so I decided what the hell and took advantage of the offer!
As you have probably already guessed I bought a Paint Pot in Rubenesque which was £13.50. Rubenesque is one of the most loved paint pots and it is a shiny peachy colour, my swatch picture really does not do it justice.
I also bought a Tinted Lipglass in a Limited Edition colour called Good Times, which was £12.50. I was kind of suckered into buying this because I saw a swatch of it in one of Temptalia’s videos and I thought I just had to buy it, so I did. Good Times is a pale mauve pink colour and looks really light and milky, it is very pretty but not wearable on it’s own for me as it looks white and it makes you look ill, but over a similar shaded lipstick it would look great. Again my swatch picture does not do the colour justice.

I don’t think I will be buying anything else in the future, but hey, watch this space. Something may just catch my eye.

My Eye Primers: The Verdict!

It has taken me a long time to put this altogether, but I have finally done it! I decided I wanted to share my thoughts on eye primers I had tried and it turned out that I had ten, so I thought I would test them and find out which one worked best for me. I have split them into two categories (High End/Low End) and I aim to rank them from #1 to #10 on which is the longest wearing. Let’s look at the primers I will be testing. HIGH END URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION PRICE: £17.50 SIZE: 10ml SHADES: Original, Anti-ageing, Freebase, Eden, Fix, Minor Sin, Sin and Caffeine APPLICATION: Squeeze tube without a nozzle, but also has a sponge stick applicator PROMISES: Non-creasing, gives you vibrant eyeshadows WHERE TO BUY: UrbanDecay.co.uk (UK) & Sephora (USA) I like to think that this primer is my favourite as I love the packaging (purple is my favourite colour). It is potion bottle inspired and it is the first primer I remember ever seeing and wanting. The packa...

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. It is actually an eau de toilette, which means that it is less concentrated, but I find that it is st...
