Perfume Power! - Aquolina 'Pink Sugar'


I purchased this perfume because of all the hype in the YouTube ‘Beauty Guru’ community.

The bottle design is very simple and classic and has feminine pink banding around the bottle.

The fragrance notes are:-

Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Liquorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk, Wood, Powder.

To me it smells really sweet, which is quite nice, but, it makes me feel sick and gives me a rotten headache because it smells too strong and like mouldy potpourri and it comes across really woody. It does stay on the skin for a long time and lingers long after, which is bad news for me really. It also makes my sister feel sick, so it's not just me!

I really hoped that I would like this scent, but to me it is disgusting. I CANNOT and WILL NOT ever wear it.

Glossybox #17 - October 2015

I can’t believe that we are nearly half way through October already! It seems like the year has flown by recently. I wasn’t really looking forward to this box, but it has surprised me a bit. Here is what I received this month: So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil | £15.00 | I prefer a highlighter like Benefit High Beam, so it will be interesting to see how this works. It does come across relatively creamy for a sharp jumbo pencil. Talika Photo-Hydra Day Moisturiser | 30ml - £24.85 | Another moisturiser for your face is always very useful.  I can’t really see it being anything special. Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge | £6.50 | This looks quite a bit like the BeautyBlender, but has a different shape. I imagine it will do the exact same thing, but it is a lot cheaper option. Farewell!

Hello everyone, As you can see from the title of this post, I have decided to quit blogging!. Blogging has been a part of my life for over 11 years and I have enjoyed it a lot and it has also been a form of therapy for me. But it’s now time to leave, my life has evolved so much this last year and a half and I am now looking forward to exploring new things.
