Make-Up Storage ENVY! #2

I have done a post similar to this before and it really gets me thinking about how I will organise things when I get a place of my own. When I say things, I really mean my beauty related products!

I watched Elle Fowler’s make-up collection video a long time ago and I fell in love with her vanity set up (picture above). It is a gorgeous shabby chic/French inspired and white piece of furniture and I just have to have it! My newly decorated bedroom was finished in May, so I currently have no plans to buy this beauty, but it is definitely on my want list for my own place in the future.

I change my mind all the time about organising my current room, but I know for my own place, this piece of furniture has to be there.

BY BEAUTY BAY Fiery 16 Colour Palette

This is the third BY BEAUTY BAY make-up product I’ve tried and I did see it on the website when it first launched, but never picked it up. It was always sold out anyway so I couldn’t get it and the packaging has just been re-vamped for all of their palettes and all of the products were re-stocked. I decided to pick this one up because of the size, it’s not too small and it’s not too big. The nine shade version of this palette is all matte, and I really like shimmers/metallic and the massive forty-two shade version is too big (too many shades and too big to store in my drawers). Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Volume II Palette

This palette has been out for a while now and I did purchase it a while ago, but I have only just decided to really play with it. Morphe palettes in general put me off because of the size of them, no shade names, boring packaging and too many shades in some palettes. The colour story of this palette in particular is really attractive to me. I didn’t buy Volume I as I didn’t want to jump on the band wagon, the size of the packaging and the colour story is just boring to me. I did pick up the Vault Collection (four palettes) and what a massive disappointment it was too (now decluttered)!! This palette became a cult favourite in the beauty sphere when it was first released as a limited edition product in collaboration with Nicole Guerriero (Beauty Influencer on YouTube), and there have been many calls to bring it back. In 2020, Anastasia Beverly Hills finally listened after three long years! I only actually heard about this palette after it had completely sold out and was no longer available. I must have been living under a rock at some point during 2017, because I completely missed this product!
