Christmas Haul 2015

I thought I would share with you what I got for Christmas this year. I did the same thing last year, but I don’t share everything with you, just the gifts that are relevant to my Blog content.

The jewellery and fashion relation gifts I received are a Kipling Zamor B Shoulder Bag in Cool Grey (comes with ‘SARAH’ monkey). MURU Old Key Necklace (rose gold version), Sapphire and Diamond Silver Ring, NEXT Jewelled Rounded Pendant and lastly an Accessories Textured Bag Keyring.

Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up

Wake Me Up Foundation I bought this after seeing the advertisement for it on Rimmel’s Facebook, and I thought the description sounded perfect for me. The packaging is made of glass and it has a curved shape, with the Rimmel logo and product name printed in the centre on a bit of plastic tape. The cap is a slanted block shape made of plastic and it is a bright orange colour with glitter sparkle. This product has an orange plastic pump, which dispenses the product. All the relevant information is printed on the back, like most products. It is also packaged in a plastic wrapper, with a security tag. This product is marketed as a foundation that “instantly reawakens skin, with a healthy, radiant glow”. It is also mean’t to be light weight and give a poreless and flawless complexion. It also contains SPF15 for sun protection and illuminating pearls, which is mean’t to give your face a natural glow. BPERFECT Cosmetics X Stacey Marie Carnival Palette

I’ve had this palette for a little while now and I am interested in buying the newest version, Carnival III: Love Tahiti . I thought I would let you know what I thought of the original Carnival Palette. Stacey Marie is a makeup artist. I had actually never heard of her before I bought this palette! THE PACKAGING The palette is quite large and it is made out of black cardboard with a rectangular shape. It has bright colour powdery imagery all-over as the design. It also has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The square powder pans are arranged on a black base with the shade names printed underneath each pan in a white font. The highlighters are to the left and the eyeshadows to the right. There is also a mirror. THE POWDERS & FORMULA You get twenty-four eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME) and Shimmer (S) finishes and two shimmery highlighters.
