Haul: Recent Purchases #4

I recently made three online orders and I thought I would share with you what I bought.

From FeelUnique.com, I purchased three Urban Decay Single Eyeshadows in Chopper, Verve and YDK. I already have these shades in palettes, but I am going to declutter a few more palettes and these were my favourite shades from the palettes I am getting rid of.

From MAC, I purchased three Liptensity Lipsticks in Brick Dust, Doe and King Salmon. I also received six free samples with this order; Neoprene Bag, Upward Lash Mascara, Prep+Prime Natural Radiance Base, Cleanse Off Oil, In Extreme Dimension 3D Lash Mascara and Strobe Cream. I actually had an issue with this order because they sent me the Matte Lipstick in Viva Glam III, instead of one of my Liptensity lipsticks. They let me keep the Viva Glam lipstick and then they sent out my missing Liptensity. A similar thing has happened to me before. It is annoying, but at least it can be easily resolved.

I also decided to purchase the Oral B Genius 9000 Electric Toothbrush in Orchid Purple from Boots.com. It was still quite expensive even though I got it for less than half price, but I really needed a new Oral B toothbrush and this one is purple (my favourite colour).

I am really pleased with my purchases and I can’t wait to start using them!

Serial Sampler #16

I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is False Lashes Extreme Black by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. Birchbox #2 - July 2014

This is my second ever Birchbox (arrived yesterday) and I was interested to see if it beat last month’s box. I got another free lifestyle extra, so I am assuming you get one every month! Here is what I received this month:- Models Own Nail Polish in Sparkler | £5 – ModelsOwnIt.com | This is my first ever Models Own nail polish and it is from the Fireworks collection. It looks like a very pretty top coat, but I’m not sure if I would actually use it. Only time will tell! LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #6 - October 2020

I was hoping to have posted about this last Thursday, but it took a while for my box to arrive. There was an issue with some people’s subscriptions and it mean’t some orders were not generated for existing subscribers. The issue was corrected and I have now received my box.
