Colourpop Main Squeeze Palette

I have known about Colourpop for a very long time, but there isn’t currently a stockist for them in the UK. They have released quite a few of these small one colour inspired palettes and if they were readily available in the UK, I would probably own all of them as they are inexpensive and look cute. I came across a reputable reseller on eBay and decided to pick up a palette to try it out. The reseller purchases the items from the official brands websites and then resells them on eBay for profit. There were two palettes I was interested in the most and it was this one and the Orange You Glad?. The Orange You Glad? wasn’t available and I think it is quite a new release and with the pandemic going on at the moment, I am guessing the reseller isn’t able to get that one for the time being. You can purchase the products directly from the Colourpop website and they do ship to the UK, but you have to spend $50.00 plus to get free shipping and then you are risking the custom fees.

Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipsticks in Old Flame & Camp Fire

I decided to buy these and give them ago after hearing good things about them online, there is also a great shade selection. My current favourite lipsticks are the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks and I wanted to see how these DOC ones would compare. Old Flame - warm rusty orange Camp Fire - burnt sienna These creamy matte liquid lipsticks are mean’t to be rich in colour, long wearing and dry down to a velvety, comfortable and matte finish. You should exfoliate your lips prior to application and avoid consuming oily/greasy foods once applied. You can purchase them for £18.00 ($18.00) each from DoseofColors.com and BeautyBay.com. They are also cruelty-free and vegan. My First Impressions The packaging is like the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks and the actual formula of the DOC liquid lipsticks kind of reminds me of the JSC ones too. The formula is more of a cream rather than liquid, unlike the JSC’s ones. The formula comes out kind

Becca's Babble's #4: My Current Favourite Songs

Photo: TheDJ.co.uk I thought I would post about something different today, something not beauty related. I have found myself listening to more music lately, seeing as though I have more time on my hands whilst the UK is on a sort of lockdown and I cannot go to work. By listening to more music, I mean more of the songs I have downloaded. I don’t really get to hear much new music as I do not listen to the radio or watch music channels on the TV. I am also kind of old school with music. I actually download the songs onto my PC instead of using a music streaming service. I just personally find it easier; I can then copy the songs to my phone. Streaming sites tend to delete their content after a while, but if you have the songs downloaded, you can never lose them until you delete them. I do subscribe to Amazon Music for my Echo Dot though, but I do find it incredibly frustrating when Alexa doesn’t understand what I want her to play, even though I am saying it in plain English!! Anyway

Natasha Denona Cranberry Palette

This palette has been around for ages and I always loved the look of it. I finally decided to pick it up. I did use a £5.00 off voucher on my order. The packaging is made of plastic and it has a long and thin rectangular shape. The base is white and the lid is clear, so that you can see the eyeshadows. It has the logo in white font printed on the bottom right corner. The lid just lifts up to reveal the shades. The pins that attach the lid to the base are tightened, which gives you a pressure opening/closing, instead of having a magnet or clip. You can purchase it for £41.00 ($48.00) from NatashaDenona.com or FeelUnique.com. You get five 2.5g eyeshadows in Semi Matte (SM), Satin (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes 7 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk DAISY - medium pink with warm undertones and glitters (ME) SAKURA - medium red with warm undertones (SM) BOTANIC - duo-chrome medium orange with yellow undertones (ME) BLOSSOM - rich berry with cool

Perfume Power! - DKNY 'Stories'

I’ve had this perfume for a while now and I originally bought it as part of a gift set during the Christmas sales. The bottle is made of clear glass and it is hexagonal shaped. I believe the bottle is supposed to look like a New York skyscraper. The neck of the bottle has a thick metallic ring around it, with DKNY printed around it. On top of the ring sits the metallic cylindrical cap, which lifts off to reveal a spritzer which you press down to dispense the scent. You can purchase it in 30ml (£43.50), 50ml (£59.50) and 100ml (£79.50/$98.00) from DonnaKaran.com and Boots.com. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Guava, Milk Mousse, Pink Pepper & Black Cardamom Middle Notes: Jasmine Sambac, Iris & White Tea Base Notes: Vanilla, White Sandalwood & Ambergris I like bottle design; it is simple but beautifully elegant. It is quite a strong scent, so it will last a very long time on your skin. The scent is divine! It is quite a mature scent compared to my u

Serial Sampler #19

I have a mascara mini/sample to share with you today. I actually purchased it myself and I bought the mini just in case I didn’t like it, and I also have a lot of other mascaras that need using up anyway. It is BADgal BANG! by Benefit and it is a 4g mini of the full sized mascara (8.5g). It is described as being smudge-proof, water resistant, lifting, lengthening and volume building. The mascara is cruelty-free, but not vegan (contains Beeswax). I have previously used the original BADgal Mascara by Benefit and this one is quite different. I remember BADgal being very dark, wet and kind of clumpy, but BADgal BANG! is definitely an improvement. The brush is skinny and kind of arrow shaped, which is perfect for getting your very inner corner lashes and your lower lashes. It definitely lifts, lengthens and separates your lashes, but the volume is not the best. The volume is workable and the formula isn’t clumpy so you can apply more than one layer to build more volume. T

Anastasia Beverly Hills X Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit

This palette became a cult favourite in the beauty sphere when it was first released as a limited edition product in collaboration with Nicole Guerriero (Beauty Influencer on YouTube), and there have been many calls to bring it back. In 2020, Anastasia Beverly Hills finally listened after three long years! I only actually heard about this palette after it had completely sold out and was no longer available. I must have been living under a rock at some point during 2017, because I completely missed this product! I am glad I finally got the chance to get my hands on this palette and I have heard nothing but raving reviews. There are six metallic highlighter shades, which should be highly luminous. They have a refined formula that should deliver buildable coverage with a smooth finish. The shades were created to flatter all skin tones and they can be applied anywhere on the face, eyes, lips and body. The palette is cruelty-free and vegan. You can purchase the palette for £42.00 (

Last month I decided to do another declutter of my cosmetics collection, the last one I did was in 2017.
