Glossybox #2 - January 2012

This is the Limited Edition hot pink January Valentine Glossybox. The box is a really lovely colour and you get a cute sweet as well. Next month will be the first time I receive the regular Glossybox with their like pink coloured box.

Here is what I got.

1. EYEKO Skinny Eyeliner in Emerald Green (Full Size)

I haven’t tried this out on my eye yet but I am expecting good things, because it was quite soft and pigmented when I swatched it on my hand. The beauty card, that comes with every glossybox says this eyeliner Provides “precise definition and intense colour with a long-lasting finish”.

2. ORLY Nail Lacquer in Ruby (5.3ml Sample Size)

3. WELEDA One Step Cleanser & Toner (10ml Sample Size)

I tried this once and you don’t get enough to see if it works, but it doesn’t really interest me, I am just using it to use it up! I also don’t like that you have to wash it off and the scent reminds of a children’s cough medicine, which I like by the way, very lemony! I have tried this and it doesn’t interest me at all! I also don’t like that it does not smell of anything, I buy body washes for their scent. I am just going to use this up!. The beauty card says “A moisturising, irritant-free everyday cleanser ideal for even the most sensitive skin”.

5. MURAD Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer – Dewy Finish (5ml Sample Size)

I haven’t used this yet but I will probably just use it as a basic primer and not really take much notice of the skin perfecting, as the sample is too small to do so, but we’ll see!. The beauty card says “Oil-free primer ignites a radiant glow, powered by light-enhancing minerals”.

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear.
