Coming Soon: Urban Decay Oz The Great and Powerful Palettes

Urban Decay has recently released these two limited edition palettes inspired by the film, Oz: The Great and Powerful. They have not been released in the UK yet, but from what I have read they should be released here in March!

Both palettes look stunning but I’m mostly looking forward to the Theodora one because the palette looks more Wizard of Oz inspired and definitely my kind of product. I actually want it for the tin palette because the shadows are removable and I was going to buy an empty Urban Decay tin palette, but none of the current designs caught my eye until this one did. It is just an added bonus that the eyeshadows in this palette are neutral.

When they are released Debenhams will have them, but if like me you rely on the Internet for Urban Decay, BeautyBay.com should be getting a limited amount of them on 7th February. They should be around £35 each by my estimates, but I could be wrong.

Oden's Eye Solmåne Eyeshadow Palette

I first heard of this indie brand through watching Angelika Oles’ beauty channel on YouTube. Oden’s Eye is a Swedish indie brand and they make Norse mythology themed products. This is one of two eyeshadow palettes I decided to purchase; I also picked up the two matching highlighter palettes. THE PACKAGING The packaging is small and rectangular in shape. It is made out of cardboard and it has a sort of textured covering (like on pogs). The design and imagery is so unique to the brand. Solmåne means the sun and moon in Swedish. Sol represents the Sun Goddess and Måne represents the Moon God. Both Gods are represented on the packaging. There is a colour split of warm and cool toned shades (lavender, pink, orange & yellow) along with moon, star and Norse symbols. The wheel around the Gods is metallic gold, so it really reflects the light when you move the palette around. The eyeshadow shade names are printed on the back of the palette. My Favourite TV Series

I have already shared with you some current favourite songs and my favourite films. I thought it was now time to mention my favourite TV series. Here are my top ten favourite TV series:- Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) This series is about a teenager who becomes the next vampire slayer. Only one slayer is born into every generation and one has to die for another to be activated. It is a kind of coming of age story and I love strong female characters. I also just loved the fight scenes. I was only four when this series first came out, so I did miss a few seasons at first. About five years ago, I did re-watch all seven seasons. I was sad it ended, but there are only so many monsters you can introduce and slay before it gets monotonous! So better late than never, I am going to share with you how to use it and what I think.
