Hiatus!

Hey everyone,

Recently, you may have noticed that I haven’t been posting a lot. This is because I have been very busy and can’t seem to find any spare time. I like to spend time planning posts, so that they are as informative as they can be. I just don’t want to start rushing them because my heart is not in it.

So, I am going to have a little break from the blogging world and hopefully when I come back, there will be a flow of posts. I am also hoping to re-design Beccafun and make the design more Becca. I would love a professional to design me something, but for now it will be homemade.

I can’t say for sure when I will be back, but I will be sure to let you know.

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com.
