Haul: Higher End to Drugstore #2

I have done a bit more shopping lately and thought I would share with you what I got.

I will start off with the items I bought online. From LookFantastic I got the Benefit The Bronze of Champions Set, which includes Hoola Bronzer, Thanks A Latte Eyeshadow, Hoola Lipgloss, Bikini-Tini Cream Eyeshadow, Watt’s Up! Cream Highlighter and They’re Real! Mascara. I really wanted this to try more Benefit products, plus the packaging is brilliant! From BeautyBay I really wanted the CARGO Vintage Escape Palette, but I missed out on it, so I got the CARGO Suited To A Tea Palette instead. This includes twelve cream eyeshadows, with names inspired by a tea party. Lastly from the internet, I got a bigger size of Britney Spears Circus Fantasy Perfume from AllBeauty. I’ve not even started to get through my smaller size, but I love it so much that I had to get a bigger size, just in case it has gone when I’m ready for another bottle.

The last five items were ordered from an Avon catalogue. I got the Avon Femme Perfume, matching Femme Body Spray and Femme Body Lotion. This perfume smells so lovely! Lastly, I got the Avon SuperSHOCK MAX Mascara and Avon SuperSHOCK Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Savage.

I hope this wasn’t too long winded for you. I am hoping not to buy too much more for now because my room is in the process of being re-decorated, so I don’t want to have to move tons of stuff around! My next post will be a Graze Box unveiling and then hopefully a review after that. Bye for now!

Do you have any of these products?

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink
