ZOEVA Rose Golden Palette

I saw this palette a while ago on a beauty blog and instantly knew I had to have it. It’s not long launched here in the UK, but it’s already a cult favourite!
I just adore the packaging, everything about it! It’s made out of cardboard, but it feels sturdy and durable and it is a gorgeous kind of coffee/red velvet chocolate colour. It has a beautiful rose gold design on the front, with swirls and then a centered key. It has a magnetic closing, which is quite strong because if you hold it from the top when closed and give it a shake, the two parts don’t separate (palette doesn’t open). It has a light feel in general and inside it’s all one beautiful colour and the eyeshadows are well spaced. Around each pan is a rose gold diamond border and underneath in small rose gold letters are the shade names. On the back of the palette is the usual ingredients and other information blurbs.
You get ten full size eyeshadows (0.5oz) with matte, metallic or satin finishes and each has a cute and creative name:-
LUSTER - nude beige (matte)
REFLECTIVE ELEGANCE - light pink bronze (metallic)
COPPER IS KING - rich copper (metallic)
SHINING BRIGHT - shimmery taupe (metallic)
RUSTY PETALS - rusty pink toned brown (metallic)
FOIL - light gold (metallic)
JUST A ROSE - rose gold (metallic)
GOLDEN RULE - dark gold (metallic)
HARMONY - charcoal grey (matte)
WONDER FULL - dark chocolate brown (matte)

This palette is absolutely stunning! All ten shades are beautifully pigmented, soft and easy to blend together. It is light, compact and creatively designed, which makes it incredibly appealing to me. I really can’t find any faults with this palette, especially for the price! There was a minor flaw with my palette, the pan for the shade Foil fell out, but luckily the eyeshadow didn’t crumble and I stuck it back in with glue. This isn’t a reflection on the brand or the palette itself, I just happened to get a slightly dodgy one. My favourite shades from the palette have to be, Copper Is King and Just A Rose. Not only are the names so adorable and creative, but to me they are the true rose gold shades, which is what this palette is all about!

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. It is actually an eau de toilette, which means that it is less concentrated, but I find that it is st...

TAG - The Good, The Bad, The British

Photo: EnchantedIvyGifts.co.uk I was browsing my subscription videos on YouTube and I saw that EssieButton uploaded a new TAG video called The British Tag, and after watching it I decided I wanted to do the TAG too. I believe this TAG was created by BeautyCrush , so all credit is awarded to her. 1. How many cups of tea do you have a day & how do you take it? I drink around three cups of tea a day and I take mine with one small sugar and a bit of semi-skimmed milk. Tea is also the only hot drink I like. 2. What is your favourite part of a Sunday roast? My favourite part of a roast is the vegetables. I love kale & leak and broccoli! My Mum’s gravy is also to die for. 3. What is your favourite dunking biscuit? I don’t dunk biscuits anymore, but when I was younger I loved dunking Bourbons. If I was to dunk a biscuit now, I would probably choose either a Rich Tea or plain Digestive. 4. What is your quintessential British pastime? I love visiting ruins/m...
