When I first heard that KALEIDOS was releasing a new Space Age highlighter, I knew I would be getting it! They have also updated the packaging of all of the highlighter tins and they reformulated Mars Melter. They were re-stocking all of the highlighters on Monday 9 th November 8pm PST, so that was Tuesday 10 th November 4am for me! I stayed up waiting for the website to be live and I finally got my hands on Sky Walker and I also picked up the reformulated Mars Melter and the new Space Age Prophecy of course! There was also a sale on the whole site, I got Mars Melter and Sky Walker for $10.50 (RRP $14.00) each and The Space Age Prophecy for $27.00 (RRP $36.00). I am really surprised they offered a discount for the newest highlighter as it was also the launch date for it and there is only a limited quantity available of this highlighter every week. I was very lucky; I got on the site at 4:01am and was checked out and paid up by 4:03am! I paid $8.00 shipping and my order came to $56.00

I had been eyeing up this palette for a long time, the green shade and packaging design was just calling to me! I saw it for sale on Depop and finally decided to pick it up. THE PACKAGING The packaging is made out of mint green cardboard, which is wrapped with a colourful flowery design. The palette name and branding is printed in white and the shade names are printed on the back of the palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The circle eyeshadow pans are arranged on a white base with the shade names printed underneath them in mint green font. I once sent off for a perfume sample from Lancôme on Facebook and periodically they still send me samples of their new perfume releases. I received this one a while ago (ages after it first launched), but I have only just got around to testing it.   It is Idôle by Lancôme and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   Launched: 2019   Type: Floral Notes Top: Pear and Bergamot. Middle: Turkish Rose, Rose de Mai and Indian Jasmine. Base: White Musk and Vanilla. It is a really light spring time floral scent. It isn’t too mature smelling and it is not overpowering. It reminds me of the Gucci Flora and Hugo Boss Ma Vie perfumes a little. I can really smell the Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine and Musk notes. It is a fresh floral scent and would be good for day time wear. I do really like it, although it isn’t my typical choice of scent. I first heard of this indie brand through watching Angelika Oles’ beauty channel on YouTube. Oden’s Eye is a Swedish indie brand and they make Norse mythology themed products. This is one of two highlighter palettes I decided to purchase; I also picked up the two matching eyeshadow palettes. I have already posted about the Solmåne Eyeshadow Palette and Solmåne Highlighter Palette. ABOUT THE PRODUCT The packaging doesn’t match the eyeshadow palette, but it is still very beautiful with a light blue theme and it does have a little silver elf printed next to the palette name. The design and imagery is so unique to the brand. Alva means elf in Swedish. This is the second of two eyeshadow palettes I decided to purchase. I also picked up the two matching highlighter palettes.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is small and square in shape and is made out of cardboard. The design and imagery is so unique to the brand. Alva means elf in Swedish. The base colour of the packaging is a dusty pink and it has flowers and grapes printed on it. There is also the silver reflective elf graphic. The palette has a magnetic closing/opening, which you lift up to reveal the small round mirror and small circular pans on a dusty pink base. The eyeshadow shade names are printed in gold font above each, they kind of wrap around the pans. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get sixteen 1.25g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Diamond Glitter (DG), Chunky Glitter (CG) and Metallic (ME) finishes.   ·
