This is the eleventh day of my LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar for Christmas 2020 unboxing. Yesterday I unboxed the Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Body Scrub.

APPLICATION
Apply 4-12 drops to the face and lower neckline daily, massaging into the skin with circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Wash your hands straight after application. Follow with a moisturiser before applying make-up. Additional drops will increase the depth in colour.

MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS
This is not a product that interests me at all. I am into regular face serums, but not tanning products (I’m happy pale/don’t mind a safe natural sun tan). The packaging feels quite luxurious and it does smell amazing, that is as quite as far as I am willing to test it. I would recommend that you look into it if you are after a more natural looking self-tan product with added skin benefits.

I saw this advertised last year and I have been interested in the full sized Tartelette palettes before, but couldn’t really justify buying one (plus I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK that sold them). KALEIDOS Futurism VII: Sashimi City Palette

This was the futurism palette that I was the most excited about trying. It’s the one that has the most cohesive colour story to me and I do love me some warm neutrals! I still have three more futurism palettes to test out and I can’t wait. THE PACKAGING The packaging is a long thin rectangle shape and the concept reminds me of a wardrobe. There is a purple, pink and coral city skyscraper theme all over the packaging. It has a magnetic closing and you open up the left side first and then the right side to reveal the circular eyeshadow pans and long thin mirror inside. The outside theme continues to the inside. Jeffree Star Cosmetics

I am reviewing some Jeffree Star Cosmetics products I recently picked up from BeautyBay.com. For those that don’t know, Jeffree Star is a Beauty YouTuber who has his own make-up brand. I have only recently become a fan and I can’t quite remember how! I like his make-up videos because they are honest and when he does tutorials it is like he is actually teaching you. I dislike the voiceover/quick cut edited tutorials most YouTubers create. He mostly uses really expensive high end products, but he is up front about it and it isn’t because he is snobby. I think he mentioned that he had some bad experiences with drugstore products when he first started out with make-up, so the higher end brands tended to be more quality made. As we all know, the quality of make-up has dramatically changed over the years, so he is gradually trying out more drugstore brands on his channel.
