Serial Sampler #27

I received this sample for FREE when I purchased two OFRA highlighters from BeautyBay.com. I was lead to believe that it would be a full sized lipstick, but it was a mini sample size that arrived. It does look quite cute, so I am still happy with it. It is the Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Bel Air by OFRA and it is mini sample of the full sized lipstick. Bel Air - warm nude with a hint of peach (matte) This lipstick is supposed to have long lasting colour with minimal transfer. It should also be comfortable to wear. It is infused with Vitamin A and antioxidants. It is a beautiful colour and definitely the sort of shade I would wear. It is long lasting and comfortable to wear, but I would suggest that you try to avoid eating and drinking large quantities as it will wear away (especially if oil based). I am looking at purchasing a full sized tube of it, but I need to swatch it against some lipsticks I already own to make sure I don’t have a dupe. I will make do w

KALEIDOS Space Age Highlighter in Ray Rider

I heard about the brand Kaleidos through watching Porcelain/Bridgette on YouTube. I really love the look of their products and they are an Indie brand based in China, which means they are not readily accessible to the UK. You can purchase products directly from the Kaleidos website, but you would have to weigh up shipping and custom costs. I don’t want to risk that at the moment, plus there are eight highlighters in the Space Age line and I want them all! They do offer a bundle price for all eight ($94.00) and I was so tempted, but luckily it is out of stock! I was browsing through the Depop website and I came across a seller who was selling one of the highlighters brand new and unused, so I immediately snapped it up! This highlighter is supposed to be extremely vibrant, highly reflective, lightweight and buildable. It should flatter all skin tones and it is vegan and cruelty-free. You can purchase it for $14.00 (£10.78) from KaleidosMakeup.com. Ray Rider - champagne sheen

Midas Cosmetics X Smokey Glow Palette

This palette is in collaboration with Smokey Glow (Hannah), who is a Beauty Influencer on YouTube. I believe it launched in February and it is exclusively available at MidasCosmetics.com. Midas Cosmetics is an indie brand based in the USA. If you live outside the USA, you can still purchase the palette from their website but there may be extra costs involved (custom fees etc). I only started watching Hannah on YouTube about 3 months ago and this palette colour story is right up my street! I ordered the palette and got my confirmation e-mail on Friday 10 th July, I received my dispatched e-mail on Tuesday 14 th July and it said to allow for ten days for delivery. I got a tracking update a day later and it estimated that the palette would be delivered on Wednesday 29 th July. My palette did indeed arrive on the estimation day and I was so happy it came! I didn’t need to pay any custom fees (it was posted straight through my cat flap), so bonus! Not everyone has to pay custom fe

Graze - Box #17

I received this box on Tuesday 21 st July and it was yellow this time. My last box was blue so I am guessing it will be a different colour each time. The very old Graze boxes were just plain brown. Here is what I received this time:- Sweet Mustard Pretzel - Sour cream and onion cashews, pretzel bites and mustard breadsticks (129kcal) | Contains: Sesame Seeds, Gluten, Mustard, Milk & Tree Nuts | The sour cream and onion cashews are not very nice in my opinion. They are quite sour, a little vinegary and then sweet. The pretzel bites are very nice and are only very slightly salted in taste. I love pretzels anyway! The mustard breadsticks do taste kind of sweet, the mustard isn’t too strong and I wouldn’t say that they taste spicy at all. | Link - https://www.graze.com/2662/sweet-mustard-pretzel | Lemon & Poppy Seed Cake with an Afternoon Blend - Zingy lemon & poppy seed cake, paired with an afternoon infusion tea (79kcal) | Contains: Gluten &am

Serial Sampler #26

I am sampling a newer version of a really old perfume today. It was first released way back in 1957 and dedicated to the actress Audrey Hepburn. It was modernised and re-released in 2018, which is the version I am testing today. I believe the name of the fragrance means ‘The Forbidden’ in French. It is L’Interdit by GIVENCHY and it is a 1ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “The shocking side of chic. A forbidden blend of a white flower and a dark accord. A resolutely underground flower.” It contains a mixture of notes such as; Bergamot, Pear, Tuberose, Orange Blossom, Jasmine Sambac, Patchouli, Vetiver, Ambroxan and Vanilla. This smells very classy and floral. It is not too strong, but you can definitely smell the Bergamot, Pear, Jasmine Sambac and Patchouli notes. The Pear does tone the floraliness down quite a bit, which is why I quite like it. I wouldn’t go out and purchase a bottle right away as it isn’t my typical scent and it reads as a mature scent to

Benefit Cheek Stars Reunion Tour Palette

I’ve wanted to try the highlighter Cookie from Benefit for ages, but always decided against purchasing a single of it as I always declutter the single boxed powders by Benefit, so I didn’t want to waste money again. Also, I have far too many single highlighters (OFRA ♥) as it is! I kept seeing Beauty Influencers on YouTube use this palette, so I decided to purchase it for myself. You get five full sized powders inside a cute compact palette. You also get a free face brush which also fits inside the palette and a Tips & Tricks Card. You can purchase it for £53.50 ($60.00) from BenefitCosmetics.com. There is also a mini version available of this palette (Cheek Stars Mini Reunion Tour Palette), which includes; Georgia, Sugarbomb and Hoola for £26.00 ($30.00). All five powders are also available in singles and mini/travel singles. LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #4 - August 2020

Last month’s box was the Sunkissed Edition and this month we have the Radiance Edition with a coral and pink box. The six items inside the box should be worth over £55.00 altogether and there are two variants of boxes available this month. I received Variant 1, which just has a couple of different products to the ones in Variant 2 (this is apparently due to high demand of subscribers). Here is what I received this month:- AHAVA Deadsea Water Mineral Body Lotion | 40ml - £8.00 | This body lotion is supposed to be deeply hydrating and fast absorbing. It is also supposed to soften and smoot your skin, leaving your skin feeling revitalised refreshed and restored. I have said many times before; I do not like body lotions! I received a body butter last month and haven’t used that, so I probably won’t use this one either. It sounds great, but it is just not something I would appreciate using. | Full Size: 250ml - £23.49 | PERCY & REED Perfectly Perfecting Wonderbalm

My Current Top 5 Beauty Influencers

The sort of purpose of the ‘Becca’s Babble’s’ posts are a way to get to know me a little, with me rambling on about topics that are not necessarily beauty or lifestyle related. I thought I would share my current top five favourite YouTube channels with you today and they all happen to be Beauty Influencers. I’m not actually sure how long I have been subscribed to any of the channels and I don’t know of a way to find out. In no particular order: Photo: © Property of Porcelain/Bridgette Porcelain Name: Bridgette   Age: 25   Based: United States of America (USA) Bridgette is the most consistent uploader and uploads the most per week out of all the Influencers I am subscribed to on YouTube. She does a lot of varied content and I really enjoy her videos (declutters, reviews). I feel like she is the only one whose videos I watch all of regardless of the content. Sometimes I skip others videos if they are not about something that interests me, but I feel like I haven’t done
