e.l.f Little Black Beauty Book - Eyeshadow Edition



I bought this palette because it was on offer for £3.75 and I thought it might be nice to try out, but I was wrong! L

I quite like the packaging of this product because it looks like a little black book and it is a good size for travel, but every single eyeshadow has glitter in it! The colours are beautiful and pigmented, but there are no matte shades which mean it looks like cheap children's make-up. I regret buying it because of the glitter and for the fact that I do not wear colours very often and I like neutral shades from my other palettes better. Because of those factors I will never use this palette. If I did want colour I have other palettes I can use that also have matte shades in them.

Sorry I could not show swatches of the eyeshadows because I am giving this palette away to a family member and don't want stick my fingers in every shade.

I first heard of this indie brand through watching Angelika Oles’ beauty channel on YouTube. Oden’s Eye is a Swedish indie brand and they make Norse mythology themed products. Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette

I first saw a preview of this palette in early August on the Trendmood Instagram page. I just knew I had to have it. I also own and love the Gingerbread Spice and Gingerbread Extra Spicy Palettes by Too Faced. These are the only types of holiday palettes that actually interest me from Too Faced. All of their other holiday palettes tend to be gimmicky (but pretty looking) and not good quality. THE PACKAGING The packaging is a rounded rectangular shaped tin in a beautiful pumpkin orange colour. The design on the front kind of looks like spread on a cracker. The name of the palette is printed in two different raised fonts. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The little rectangular eyeshadow pans are arranged across a metallic gold base, with the shade names printed in a small black font above each pan. This palette became a cult favourite in the beauty sphere when it was first released as a limited edition product in collaboration with Nicole Guerriero (Beauty Influencer on YouTube), and there have been many calls to bring it back.
