Glossybox #6 - May 2012

Happy Birthday!
This month is Glossybox’s birthday, so I have received their birthday box yesterday! You get your five products, as usual and two extras, a double sided pocket mirror and a pink Happy Birthday balloon! So let’s get into what I got.
NOBLE ISLE Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel
- 75ml Sample Size
The beauty card says that this is, “An immaculate fragrance evoking the beginnings of summer”. It smells really nice and it reminds me of a Lion King perfume I had when I was a child.

Lolita Lempicka Perfume Samples
Lolita Lempicka & Si Lolita
- 8ml Sample Size’s
The full size bottles for these perfumes are very cute indeed, as are the little samples I got, but I have to say they are not my kind of scents at all, because they smell like they would be for more mature women, but I will use them up.

Lolita Lempicka is the stronger smelling of the two in a violet coloured vile and strikes me as more of a night time kind of scent; it is described as being a floral scent with liquorice flower, which is why it smells quite strong and musky. I couldn’t wear this on an everyday basis, because it reminds me a bit of the Pink Sugar perfume, which makes me feel sick.

Si Lolita is the lighter more natural smelling of the two in a light pink coloured vile and is more of a day scent. It is definitely a floral scent because you can really smell the sweet pea, which comes across a bit spicy. I think this is the one I prefer the most out of the two.

APIVITA Express Beauty Masks with Orange
- 8ml Sample Size’s
I haven’t tried these out yet, but I will do eventually. The masks are supposed to enhance the antioxidant action with their green tea infusion and they do not contain water. Overall

OSMO Berber Oil Hair Treatment
- 10ml Sample Size
This is a hair oil, which contain argon oil and it says it is suitable for all types of hair. It is supposed to nourish dry and damaged hair. It smells quite nice, like Haribo Gummy Bears, but because it is oil I cannot use it, because it may be suitable for all hair, but putting an oil product on oily hair doesn’t make sense to me.

Eldora False Eyelashes in B144
- Full Size
These are really nice looking lashes. People were complaining about which ones they received, because apparently there were glittery/drag queen ones, which obviously people weren’t into. So I am glad I got the most ‘natural’ pair. I do not wear fake eye lashes, but I will try these one day, but they are quite flimsy, so I think I would struggle a lot, but on the plus side, they already come with glue and they are quite inexpensive.

This was sadly my last box though, as I have now un-subscribed, because I am getting bored of them now! I will be doing a post about my experience as a whole very soon, so look out for that!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
