Perfume Power! - DKNY 'Be Delicious Fresh Blossom'

I bought this perfume as a birthday present for my sister, as she really liked it and after smelling it on her all the time, I decided to buy it for myself.

The bottle is the same apple sphere shape, like all the Be Delicious variants. This one is a smaller size, so it has the reflective silver plastic basic cap. This bottle’s base is also made of translucent glass, but it is clear and the colour comes from the liquid, which is a really light pink colour.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Grapefruit, Cassis & Apricot
Middle Notes: Lily-of-the-Valley, Rose & Jasmine
Base Notes: Red Apple & Wood

This perfume also smells quite fruity and florally and again the apple really stands out, but I find that it is not as sweet as the original Be Delicious, which has green apple instead of red. The floral notes also stand out more, which gives it a really girly and dainty feel that is not overpowering but more empowering! This is my favourite variant of the two and is definitely one of my all-time favourite perfumes.

My Eye Primers: The Verdict!

It has taken me a long time to put this altogether, but I have finally done it! I decided I wanted to share my thoughts on eye primers I had tried and it turned out that I had ten, so I thought I would test them and find out which one worked best for me. I have split them into two categories (High End/Low End) and I aim to rank them from #1 to #10 on which is the longest wearing. Let’s look at the primers I will be testing. HIGH END URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION PRICE: £17.50 SIZE: 10ml SHADES: Original, Anti-ageing, Freebase, Eden, Fix, Minor Sin, Sin and Caffeine APPLICATION: Squeeze tube without a nozzle, but also has a sponge stick applicator PROMISES: Non-creasing, gives you vibrant eyeshadows WHERE TO BUY: UrbanDecay.co.uk (UK) & Sephora (USA) I like to think that this primer is my favourite as I love the packaging (purple is my favourite colour). It is potion bottle inspired and it is the first primer I remember ever seeing and wanting. The packa...

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. It is actually an eau de toilette, which means that it is less concentrated, but I find that it is st...
