Graze - Box #10

I have another Graze box post for you today. I am thinking of stopping these posts soon because it is starting to feel compulsory and I need to post more relevant beauty related content.

A closer look at my treats.
Graze’s Popping Corn ‘Lightly Salted’

I have tried this before and it is really nice and not overly salty. You get quite a bit of corn in the bag too, even though it is a small packet.
Lightly Toasted Pistachios

“Whole pistachios toasted with a little salt”

I have had this packet before too and I just love pistachios!
Tomato & Basil Pizza

“Basil crunchini, cheese cashews & mini tomato breadsticks”

This is my first experience with this packet, but each snack has been in other packets I have tried before. The crunchini is very nice and it’s just like croutons. The cheese cashews are nice and I do still really like the tomato breadsticks/baguettes.
Herby Bread Basket

“Basil baguettes, garlic crostini and oregano rice crackers”

I have also had this packet before and really enjoyed it again! The basil baguettes are really yummy and remind me of a pizza base. The crostini are also really nice and remind me of crusty bread and they are not too garlic infused, but slightly salty. I also love these types of rice crackers and the oregano really complements them. They also taste quite sweet.

Overall I was slightly disappointed with this box because I have already tried each snack before and I was expecting at least one packet that I haven’t had before. The box was yummy though and I would say all four packets were my favourites this time. I was thinking of unsubscribing, but I was offered a free box and a guarantee of there being at least one packet I haven’t tried in my next box!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
