Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliners

I have always wanted to try out these eyeliners, but I was put off by the applicators as I wasn’t good at applying liquid eyeliners with those types of applicators, I prefer liquid eyeliner pens. I finally gave in and purchased three shades as I heard nothing but good reviews about them.

You get 7.5ml glitter gel inside a cylindrical tube with a thin tipped brush applicator.

MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I like the packaging and there is a variety of different shades. I found it relatively easy to apply. There isn’t much of a base colour to the liners, which is disappointing. Also, the glitter is not compact enough so I didn’t get an opaque line; there were gaps where it just looked like glossy gel. If you just want a little accent glitter on your eye then these eyeliners are ok, but if you are after a strong, opaque glitter line, you will be very disappointed. I regret buying these and wouldn’t recommend them!

Escada Collector's Edition Gift Set

I’ve always been interested in trying Escada fragrances, but there are so many to choose from and I didn’t want to risk buying a full size bottle. An advertisement popped up on Facebook with an offer of a free sample of this new fragrance and I clicked straight away! I have previously tested the original scent of this fragrance line and I loved it, so I was also expecting to like this one. It is Born In Roma Yellow Dream by Valentino and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ A floral lift of a thousand rose petals, twisted with a new clean and fresh addiction. ” Launched: 2021 Type: Floral / Feminine (Donna) Notes Top: Italian Lemon. Middle: Rose Essence. Base: Clean Accord and White Musks. This is a very soft and delicate floral scent with a fresh musk hint. It is definitely more floral smelling than the original Born In Roma fragrance. I can’t really detect the Italian Lemon. I can pick-up a fruity sort of hint, but it definitely isn’t lemon to me.
