NO Followers :(

Most of you that come across my blog will notice that I do not have any followers, but I carry on blogging regardless! Why? I here you ask, I’m going to explain why.

I started my blog because I always see comments on the internet, especially on YouTube videos asking for suggestions on the best beauty products to buy, and I buy and have tried quite a few of them, so instead of typing a short reply I thought it would be better to blog about them, so I can leave a link, plus I will be able to look back to see what I thought of products so I know whether I’ve tried similar products before. Plus before I buy a product I like to see swatches on Google images, and I try to take photos for most of my posts, so if someone is like me, they can type a product into images and one of my photos might pop up, it’s all about helping someone really, because swatches are the major influence for me, seeing as though I like to buy higher end palettes, so if I am going to spend the money I need to see what I am actually buying and pictures give me a good insight!

I am not a ‘Beauty Guru’ like on YouTube, I am just an average young woman that quite enjoys blogging and loves beauty products. I could never do YouTube videos because I’m not confident on camera, plus I would be rubbish at tutorials and it is less awkward for me when I can just type away, seeing as though I enjoy writing.

I have had quite a few views on some of my posts, but maybe one day the people that view my posts will think me worthy enough to follow. But in the meantime I will continue blogging whether I have followers or not!

Thank you for reading...

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
