My Unii Palette

I bought this palette a while ago and thought I would review it, as well as swatching the eyeshadows I have housed in it. I wanted one because it was popular at the time and I also wanted to depot some eyeshadows I had and needed somewhere to keep them.
The palette I have is the colour Turquoise and it has aqua sparkles mixed with it and the Unii flower on the front. It is magnetised and comes with an adhesive magnet sheet with a writing label, a full sized mirror, moveable thumb grip, tight rubber seal and all is packaged inside a fold out instruction box. The palette is 15.5cm in length and 9cm in width.
Inside My Unii Palette
I am now going to go through what I have inside my palette. I currently only have eyeshadows in it, but you can put lipstick/gloss, blush, bronzer, powder and brushes inside it if you want to.
Urban Decay ‘Smog’ - bronze with a copper and gold sheen
Urban Decay ‘Minx’ - aqua green with teal shimmer
Urban Decay ‘Gunmetal’ - blue based grey with a silver sheen
Urban Decay ‘URB’ - olive green with a golden sheen
Urban Decay ‘Twice Baked’ - medium dark chocolate brown with a satin finish
Urban Decay ‘Cult’ - aubergine purple with a matte finish
Urban Decay ‘Half Baked’ - light copper gold with a metallic finish
e.l.f ‘Purple Passion’ - bright medium purple with a little shimmer
e.l.f ‘Periwinkle’ - light silvery purple with shimmer

** Minx, URB and Cult by Urban Decay have been discontinued!

Overall this is a great palette! The packaging is lovely and it is very sturdy and easy to put products inside it. The thumb grip is also a very cute addition. You can fit quite a bit inside and there are more colours to choose from. The mirror is brilliant and the palette is definitely a travel must have because it is so convenient and all you really need is magnets. If your palette isn’t full like mine, some of the eyeshadows will move around, but they never fall out!

Escada Collector's Edition Gift Set

I’ve always been interested in trying Escada fragrances, but there are so many to choose from and I didn’t want to risk buying a full size bottle. I came across this little gift set whilst I was shopping online at Boots and clicked buy straight away! All four fragrances are in a tiny, but cute 4ml potion looking bottle. Here are the four scents you get to try:- TURQUOISE SUMMER This bottle is a turquoise/clear theme and contains the notes; pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, peach, violet, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. It smells really strong of orange blossom and kind of like a car air freshener. It does linger quite a while on the skin, but it is not really a strong scent. Overall I don’t like this scent. It doesn’t really smell of anything to me and what you can smell isn’t what I would call pleasant. I give this perfume 1/5 . BORN IN PARADISE This bottle’s theme is the same as Turquoise Summer and contains the notes; green apple, watermelo...

Where I've Been Lately

Hello everyone,   You may have noticed, but I haven’t posted for a long while. I thought it was time I let you know why.   I have managed to consistently post twice a week for over a year now until recently. I had a lot of time on my hands when I was on furlough and then I was made redundant late last year. I had always enjoyed blogging and it kind of filled a sort of lonely hole in my life and it was also a type of therapy for me. My life has dramatically changed since the global pandemic started. I managed to lose quite a bit of weight during the first UK lockdown, but then backtracked a little when I went back to work. Since I was made redundant in November, a lot of things have changed again. I have lost a lot more weight, joined a gym and I am starting a new job soon. I am actually starting to enjoy and live my life, whereas before the pandemic I feel like I was just existing and I was very unhappy in myself and with my life overall. I feel like I have been given a second...
