Graze - Box #18

I received this box on Tuesday 28th July. I seem to be consuming a lot more broad beans lately as they are in most packets!

Here is what I received in this box:-
Oat & Cinnamon Cookies
- Oat and cinnamon cookies with special blend black tea infused with bergamot (100kcal)
Contains: Milk & Gluten
I have never had a Graze cookie before, so I was excited to try them. The cookies do smell quite strong of cinnamon. They are quite hard and have a good crunch. The cinnamon taste isn’t too strong and they actually taste like gingerbread to me. I would have these again and I can’t wait to try the Lemon and Chocolate versions! I have tried the black tea many times before, it’s ok but it isn’t a favourite.
Chilli Bean Crunch
- Wild rice sticks & chilli broad beans (135kcal)
Contains: Gluten
I’ve not had this exact packet before, but I have already tried various flavoured Graze broad beans! The chilli broad beans have a slight crunch. You get the hint of chilli, but they do not taste strong at all. I wish the chilli was slightly stronger. The wild rice sticks are quite crunchy. There isn’t a massive flavour, but they do taste nice.
Cocoa Vanilla Protein Flapjack
- Wholegrain oat flapjack with cocoa, natural vanilla flavouring & protein crispies (243kcal)
Contains: Soya & Gluten
I have tried this flapjack before and I remember not really liking it. It smells quite sickly to me. It does taste quite nice this time around and it does have a slight crunch from the protein crispies. The vanilla tones down the cocoa so it doesn’t taste too chocolatey and sickly. I would eat it again, but I wouldn’t purposely choose to have it.
Sweet Chilli Crunch
- Sweet chilli flavoured peas, corn, broad beans & crunchy corn hoops (139kcal)
Contains: Gluten
Again, I haven’t had this exact packet before but there are more beans!. The sweet chilli peas are kind of hollow. They actually taste quite nice and I wasn’t expecting them too. You get the hint of the sweet chilli. The corn is yummy as always!. The broad beans have a slightly chilli flavour, but it isn’t strong. The crunchy corn hoops taste good; they have a little sweet and salty flavour.
I am so glad I received a cookie packet and I surprisingly enjoyed the flapjack a little, even though I remember trying it before and not liking it. There was nothing in these packets that I really do not like, so it was a good box. I can’t wait for the next one. I am hoping for another cookie packet!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
