Graze - Box #20

I received this box on Tuesday 11th August. I was hoping for the last cookie packet as I really want to try the lemon cookies. Once I have tried them, I am thinking of cancelling my subscription!

Here is what I received in this box:-
Pepped Up Nutty Protein Power
- Black pepper cashews and almonds, roasted cashews & redskin peanuts (221kcal)
Contains: Tree Nuts & Peanuts
The black pepper cashews have a really nice peppery flavour, which isn’t too strong. The roasted cashews are nice, there’s not really a roasted flavour though. The almonds are lovely. They taste a little sweet but you do get the black pepper flavour. The black pepper was stronger tasting on the cashews. I think I still prefer the smoked almonds though. The redskin peanuts are kind soft and dry. They kind of taste of leaves, they are not very pleasant at all.
Salt & Pepper Veggie Protein Power
- Sea salt & black pepper cashews, roasted edamame beans, salted peas & broad beans (132kcal)
Contains: Gluten, Soya & Tree Nuts
The cashews taste like the black pepper ones in the previous packet, but with salt. The roasted edamame beans just taste like salted pistachios. The salted peas taste quite salty with a sweet kick. I’m not overly keen on them. The salted broad beans just taste plain. The salt is barely detectable.
Belgian Speculoos Dipper
- Cinnamon pretzel sticks with a creamy Belgian Speculoos cookie dip (122kcal)
Contains: Gluten & Soya
I have had cinnamon pretzel sticks from Graze before, but I think the dip was different. I didn’t want to try the dip because it looks like caramel and I do not like caramel. The pretzel sticks smell quite strong of cinnamon, but they do not taste that strong. They are nice and how I remember them, but I still prefer salted pretzels.
Lightly Sea Salted Crunch
- Lightly sea salted peas, corn & broad beans with crunchy pretzel bites (128kcal)
Contains: Sesame Seeds & Gluten
The peas are ok; they taste more sweet than salty. I love the corn and pretzels. The broad beans are lightly salted, but they do taste kind of dry.

I was hoping to receive the lemon cookie packet in this box, but I sadly didn’t! I would say this is the most boring box I’ve received this subscription. Nearly every packet contained beans or peas. I am a little beaned and peaed out! I have my fingers and toes crossed that I receive the lemon cookies in my next (possibly last) box!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink
