Graze - Box #19

I received this box on Tuesday 4th August. I got another cookie packet, which I am really happy about!

Here is what I received in this box:-
Cocoa Cookies
- Cocoa cookies with special blend black tea (97kcal)
Contains: Milk & Gluten
This is my second Graze Cookie packet now. They do smell quite strong of cocoa, but they do not taste overly strong. They are quite nice and they do taste a bit like double chocolate chip cookies, which is good and there isn’t even any chocolate chips in them!
Peanut Butter Protein Power
- Wholesome peanut butter with salted pretzel sticks (138kcal)
Contains: Peanuts & Gluten
I have tried this packet before. I do not like peanut butter, so I didn’t try it, but I do like pretzels. They taste like regular breadsticks, but kind of roasted (pretzel) and lightly salted. I do like them.
Honey & Seed Protein Flapjack
- Wholegrain oat flapjack with honey, mixed seeds & protein crispies (246kcal)
Contains: Soya & Gluten
I’m not sure if I have had these flapjacks before, but they do look familiar. They taste similar to regular oat flapjacks, but the texture is crispier. They are ok, but I think I prefer the cocoa vanilla ones I have had previously.
Thai Style Sweet Chilli Veggie Protein Power
- Honey chilli peanuts, lemon and black pepper broad beans, wild rice sticks & edamame beans (148kcal)
Contains: Peanuts, Soya & Gluten
This is a new packet to me. The peanuts are quite spicy and sweet. I’m fine with the spice, but I’m not too keen on the sweetness of the honey. The broad beans taste mostly like lemon, but you do get the black pepper kick. I think I prefer the chilli broad beans I’ve had previously. The rice sticks are nice little crackers. The edamame beans are very like and crunchy. They taste similar to plain broad beans, but are slightly sweeter.
This was another good box to graze on! I most enjoyed the cocoa cookies and my least enjoyed packet was the Thai Style mix. I have now tried two out of three of the cookie packets. If I receive the third and final cookie packet next time, I may cancel my subscription as I no longer feel I need them. I don’t often snack throughout the day at the moment. I find I am eating the packets for the sake of it before the next box arrives and not because I need a snack. I really just want to try that last cookie packet!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. It is a deep che

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. Swatch Stencil: Stripes Double 14 Pan by SwatchPerfect.co.uk Virgin - bone white (M) Good Morning - soft pink

e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
