Barry M Hi Vis Bold Eyeliners

I’ve been hearing about these eyeliners for a while and I finally decided to pick them up. I also wanted the cake pot versions as well, but they were not stocked on FeelUnique.com when I placed my order. There are also liquid versions, but I am not very good at applying liquid eyeliner, especially with the painter brush applicators some have.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The pencil design is quite simple, they are all one colour and the colour of the pencil matches the shade it is. They also have a plastic film covering on them; this can make it harder to sharpen.

You get 1.2g of product in the pencil and they have a neon matte finish.

MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS
They are actually quite bright and pigmented. A couple of the shades are a little patchy, but they are not bad. I did give them a quick try on my eye and they do glide on effortlessly. I disagree with the waterproof claim a little though. I don’t have particularly watery eyes and I noticed that it faded away from my waterline after ten minutes. I am guessing the waterproof claim is more for if you apply it to your eyelid. I am not looking forward to when I need to sharpen them as they are wrapped in a plastic film, which can make it hard to sharpen and it can mess up the tip. I do love the fun colours that are on offer. I wish there were more shades, like an orange or yellow. I definitely recommend you give these a try. They are a steal at £3.99 each!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
