The preview for June’s box didn’t seem very interesting, so I wasn’t really expecting much. I was a little surprised to find what was included, because it was a good mix of products for a picky person like me, who is really only interested in make-up. Here is what I received this month:- MONU Spa Rosewood Reviving Mist | 50ml - £11.95 | This product sounds quite versatile, as you can use it to refresh, fix and lightly fragrant your face. I am interested in trying this and on the plus side, it smells quite nice too. Halo Fragrance Free Facial Wipes | 10 Wipes - £1.20 | I will definitely use these, but as far as I can tell it doesn’t promise anything special. Kueshi Anticellulite Booster | 150ml - £14.55 | This seems like quite an interesting product and it smells great. I cannot wait to test this. This month’s box is Provence themed and I am a little excited about it too. I have also noticed that the majority of the products are from one brand. Here is what I got:- L’Occitane Mer & Mistral Shower Gel | 50ml - £12.00 | This smells heavenly and a lot like a Noble Isle shower gel I had before. I do quite like receiving shower gel samples, just not every month. L’Occitane Roses et Reines Hand & Nail Cream | 10ml - £14.00 | This is in such a cute tube and the rose scent is quite nice, but I’m not really into hand creams. There’s just something about them! L’Occitane Verbena Body Lotion | 30ml - £20.00 | This smells amazing and the bottle is so cute, but I hate body lotions! L’Occitane Verbena Leaf Soap | 25g - £4.50 | I love how the shape of the soap is a leaf and I am actually interested in trying it. As you can probably tell from the title, it is my birthday today! I thought I would share what I got with you. I did receive money too, but you don’t need to see that. My parents got me a Mikey London Rose Gold Chain Bracelet , which is extendable because I have quite big wrists. They also got me a Kipling Bag . I’m not too sure what it is called, but it is black with coloured birds all over it. It also has a pink monkey called Alyssa. My sister got me a Floral Thoughts ‘Apple’ Candle and H.Samuel Long Stud Earrings , which have a light lilac stone design. She also visited a LUSH shop for the first time the other week and asked me if I wanted anything. I told her of a couple of things I was interesting in trying, but she came back empty handed, or so I thought! I wasn’t really looking forward to this box from the previews I saw last month, but each box is still a surprise. Here is what I got this month:- MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand in Midnight Storm | £6.95 | The colours do look quite pretty, but I find the points are too large for eyeliner. For someone who is not a pro at applying eyeliner, I try and buy pencils with smaller points. They do feel quite creamy and apply nice when swatched, so I am sure they could probably be used as bases, although I do sense that they would be buggers for creasing! Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel | 40ml - £15.93 | This looks kind of odd in the tube, but I am interested to try it because I’ve only ever tried cream moisturisers. Zerreau Towel Off Shampoo Foam | 70ml - £7.95 | This is not really a product that interests me. I get why it exists, but I would want my hair to feel clean and not just look clean. I would still opt for an actual full hair wash. S...

I’ve always been interested in trying Escada fragrances, but there are so many to choose from and I didn’t want to risk buying a full size bottle. I came across this little gift set whilst I was shopping online at Boots and clicked buy straight away! All four fragrances are in a tiny, but cute 4ml potion looking bottle. Here are the four scents you get to try:- TURQUOISE SUMMER This bottle is a turquoise/clear theme and contains the notes; pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, peach, violet, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. It smells really strong of orange blossom and kind of like a car air freshener. It does linger quite a while on the skin, but it is not really a strong scent. Overall I don’t like this scent. It doesn’t really smell of anything to me and what you can smell isn’t what I would call pleasant. I give this perfume 1/5 . BORN IN PARADISE This bottle’s theme is the same as Turquoise Summer and contains the notes; green apple, watermelo...

This month’s theme is ‘Free Your Mind’. The box comes looking quite plain, but with a patterned outline. You also got a small packet of coloured pencils, which you were supposed to use to decorate the box. Here is what products were inside my box:- Jelly Pong Pong Caribbean Sun Bronzer Duo in Martinique | 3g - £15.95 | This is kind of an odd product. It actually looks like eyeshadow. I’m also guessing you would have a hard time applying it as the pans are quite small, and it doesn’t look like a make-up brush would fit in there. CAUDALIE Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser in 01) Light | 15ml - £27.00 | I am quite interested in trying this and it looks like a decent sample. I’ve tried a serum from this line before and loved that, so I am hoping this is good. Even if I do like it, I’m not sure I would pay out for a full size tube! I just wanted to share with you a few naughty purchases and I’m sure these won’t be the last of this month! From FeelUnique.com I finally got my hands on the Juicy Couture Duo Spray Set , which includes two 7.5ml purse sprays of Viva La Juicy La Fleur and Viva La Juicy . I also bought the Urban Decay Nirvana Build Your Own Quad Palette , as I eventually plan on buying some single UD eyeshadows and need somewhere cute to house them. Lastly, after deciding against the purchase, I listened to the little devil on my shoulder and got theBalm Balmsai Palette . From AllBeauty.com I bought a bigger size of the DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Perfume (50ml). I am still working my way through the 30ml, but I just couldn’t pass on the sale discount and I love the scent. I also decided to buy a 30ml bottle of Britney Spears Curious Perfume . I have another perfume sample for you today and it’s one I have had for a while now. It’s Valentina by Valentino and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ Valentina marks out a solar, unexpected trail, classic yet modern”. It contains notes, such as, bergamot, jasmine, strawberry and amber. It smells really delicate and fresh. It is quite strong, but elegant and it’s the strawberry note that mixes up the floral notes and makes it special. I really like this perfume and it’s one I would consider purchasing in a full size bottle. What do you think of this perfume? ♥ ♥ ♥

I saw this palette a while ago on a beauty blog and instantly knew I had to have it. It’s not long launched here in the UK, but it’s already a cult favourite! I just adore the packaging, everything about it! It’s made out of cardboard, but it feels sturdy and durable and it is a gorgeous kind of coffee/red velvet chocolate colour. It has a beautiful rose gold design on the front, with swirls and then a centered key. It has a magnetic closing, which is quite strong because if you hold it from the top when closed and give it a shake, the two parts don’t separate (palette doesn’t open). It has a light feel in general and inside it’s all one beautiful colour and the eyeshadows are well spaced. Around each pan is a rose gold diamond border and underneath in small rose gold letters are the shade names. On the back of the palette is the usual ingredients and other information blurbs. Hey everyone, I have finally changed my blog layout. It is not perfect or how I really want it to look, but it will do for now and at least there is some purple at last!
