NEXT Paradise Wardrobe

I thought I would review a perfume set. One of the scents in the set is already known to me, but I was mostly interested in trialling the other two scents and seeing how they differ. The bottles are small glass cuboids with silver plastic lids. They all have the regular perfume spritzer. Each one has a different colour theme; Blue (Escape), Pink (Paradise) and Green (Island). Each bottle holds 15ml of the eau de parfums. Paradise Escape Top Notes: Bergamot & Verbena Base Notes: Musk & Sandalwood This scent smells quite fresh and you definitely get the hint of musk, verbena and rose. It also kind of smells masculine, but not really noticeably. It does remind me of an ocean type scent.   Paradise Top Notes: Apple & Lemon Middle Notes: Magnolia & Rose Base Notes: Sandalwood & Musk I love this scent and I have for years. Next keep discontinuing this scent and then a couple years later, they bring it back. I got my first bottle wh...

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush™ Fragrance Mist

I was browsing Boots website, as I had other Soap & Glory products to re-purchase and I came across their new fragrance mist line. I believe there are only three scents at the moment, all 100ml; Sugar Crush, Mist You Madly and Fruitigo. I decided to get Sugar Crush because the body scrub of the same scent smells amazing. The bottle is rectangular and made of lime coloured glass. It has a bit of weight to it and looks kind of expensive. The cap is made of silver plastic and has a lime green band around the middle. To apply the scent, you pull off the cap which reveals the usual perfume spritzer and dispenses the scent when pressed. The fragrance notes are:- Sweet Lime, Vanilla & Musk First of all, the bottle design is amazing and the scent does smell exactly like the body scrub, but there is a slight variance. I think it smells sweeter than the body products with the same scent. It smells quite strong when first sprayed, but the scent slowly weakens. It doesn’...

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Snatch

Snatch - pale peach with gold glitter It is a shimmering and sparkling shade that also includes a little glitter. I would say it is a light pinky peach shade and it is very pretty and brightening on the eyes. £14.00 - UrbanDecay.co.uk What do you think of this product? ♥ ♥ ♥

Glossybox #22 - March 2016

I have been looking forward to receiving this box, not because of sneak peeks (I actually haven't seen any) it’s because I used my Glossydots to purchase it. It can take ages to save the points, plus I don’t really like doing the reviews, but it is worth it to get a ‘free’ box once in a while. Here is what I got this month:- LUXIE Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush (504) | Full Size | This is a lovely looking brush and the bristles are so soft. I am looking forward to giving it ago. I will most likely use it for bronzer or maybe highlighter. --- £10.42 --- OLAY Regenerist Skin Tone Perfecting Cream | 7ml - Sample | This is a cute little sample and it smells really nice. --- £29.99 - 50ml --- Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum | 15ml - Sample | I’ve not heard of this brand before and the packaging is nice. You have to cut the top of the applicator to open it, which will keep the product nice and fresh until you want to start using it. --- ...

Serial Sampler #6

I got this sample as a gift with purchase a while ago when I shopped online. It is Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez and it is a 0.8ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains very few notes such as; Gardenia, White Rose, Musk, Vetiver, Cedar and White Cedar Extract. It smells quite powdery and musky when you first spray it, after it settles it just smells very floral. It is what I would call a vintage scent (some people would say old lady). It is definitely not my cup of tea and is more suited to mature women. It kind of reminds me of one of the Alice perfumes by Vivienne Westwood. You can buy it in 30ml (£37), 50ml (£59) and 90ml (£71) and it is available at places such as; Superdrug and Sephora. What do you think of this perfume? ♥ ♥ ♥

Birchbox #5 - February 2016

I saw the sneak peek for this month’s box so I decided to re-subscribe again. What caught my eye the most was the Spectrum brush that is included. This month’s box design is also very nice and has the quote “Shine bright like a diamond” in the middle of the design. There was three colour themes for this month’s box; purple, blue and pink. I received the pink version. Here is what goodies I received this month: Spectrum Collections Tapered Powder Brush | Full Size - £7.99 | I’ve seen these brushes before and they all look cool. The bristles are so soft too! It’s nice to get a different type of brush, instead of the usual eyeshadow brush that most beauty boxes tend to include. It is a great brush and I would probably just use it for applying blush because I prefer my powder brushes to be a bit larger. LOC One and Done Shadow Stick in Champagne Problems | 1.35g - £8.00 | Every box this month includes this product, but you got to choose the shade. There were two choi...

Tarte Tartelette Tease Palette

I saw this advertised last year and I have been interested in the full sized Tartelette palettes before, but couldn’t really justify buying one (plus I couldn’t find anywhere in the UK that sold them). I thought getting this little ‘tease’ would introduce me to the brand, plus the shades look very appealing. This palette is described as being the “pocket-perfect version” of the original Tartelette palette. I thought it would be slightly bigger, but it is actually pocket sized. It is a similar size to the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palettes, but it is shorter in length and slightly wider. It’s overall layout is landscape with a length of 9.7cm and width of 5.8cm. It is made of cardboard and has a pink, purple and gold theme. The lid of the palette is magnetised and you lift it up to reveal the eyeshadows. It also has a small mirror on the reverse side of the lid and the eyeshadow pans are laid out in two rows of three shades. The pans are rectangular in shape and the shades n...

Serial Sampler #5

I thought I would share another perfume sample with you. I also have this scent in a purse spray and 50ml perfume bottle. It is Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Wild Berries, Mandarin, Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Jasmine, Amber, Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Praline. Although it contains a lot of different notes, they do actually complement each other. It does smell quite floral, but the fruity notes peak through. I would say that it is quite a girly scent and it is strong, but not overpowering. It definitely lingers for a while after spraying. You can buy it in 30ml (£36), 50ml (£49) and 100ml (£67) and it is available at places such as; Superdrug, AllBeauty.com and Sephora. I have also heard mention of a single purse spray, but I have not seen one advertised apart from the duo set I bought, which included this scent. What do you think of this perfume? ♥ ♥ ♥

Glossybox #21 - February 2016

I always look forward to the themed Glossyboxes and this box just looks lovely. I love the colours and the little love design on the lid (better than last February’s box!). Inside the tissue paper is the same hot pink colour as the base of the box and the tissue confetti is white. Here is what I got in my Valentine’s Day themed Glossybox for February:- Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner in Dark Brown | 0.3g - £3.99 | This is a nice product. I like the colour and it could also be used for your brows because it is so soft and the tip is quite fine. It definitely doesn’t stay on for twenty-four hours. It is slightly water resistant, but not waterproof. It doesn’t compare to the Urban Decay ones. MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss in Rapture | 3.2ml - £3.50 | This looks like a chubby lipstick at first and when you take the cap off, it reveal the wide, flat lip brush applicator. They could have definitely got away with a slightly smaller applicator. You ...
