Sunday Afternoon Haul

So sorry, but, I have yet another haul! I seem to like buying a lot lately. Oh well, here is what I bought.

From Superdrug I bought two Barry M Nail Paints in 322 Purple Rain and 150 Red Glitter. I also wanted to buy NYC Lincoln Square Lavender, but they still have not re-stocked the NYC display, I’ve been waiting about a month now! L. Purple Rain is a crackle effects nail paint and it is a dark sparkly and glittery purple colour, the glitter is a dark pink colour. I cannot wait to try this over Barry M’s 308 Berry Ice Cream nail paint. Purple Rain was £3.99. Red Glitter is just a red glittery colour, very pretty and Christmassy and cost £2.99. I received 56 Superdrug Beauty Card Points.

From Wilkinson’s (Wilkos) I bought two Wilko Dreamy body sprays, these are my favourite non impulse sprays; they remind me of the sort of one’s Impulse come out with. It was two for 99p so I got two. The regular price for them is 58p each. I also bought a Bath Time Body Puff, which is just a black shower sponge to wash with! It cost 45p.

I actually bought other things, but they were not really beauty related! Sorry about the very very boring blog post!

Serial Sampler #16

I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is False Lashes Extreme Black by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. It was easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. The effects do last all day, it is smudge-proof but not flake proof and I do like the small thin and precise brush. Birchbox #2 - July 2014

This is my second ever Birchbox (arrived yesterday) and I was interested to see if it beat last month’s box. I got another free lifestyle extra, so I am assuming you get one every month! Here is what I received this month:- Models Own Nail Polish in Sparkler | £5 – ModelsOwnIt.com | This is my first ever Models Own nail polish and it is from the Fireworks collection. LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #6 - October 2020

I was hoping to have posted about this last Thursday, but it took a while for my box to arrive.
