Perfume Power! - Paco Rabanne 'Lady Million'

This review has been a long time coming because I have been wearing this scent for over two years. I saw it on television adverts, but first smelled it in Superdrug and instantly fell in love with it. I find the scent iconic and when I smell it anywhere, I know exactly what it is. It is one of my favourite smells in the whole world and I always close my eyes when I first smell it. Sometimes I just sit there sniffing the bottle, that is how addicted to the scent I am!

The bottle is sort of diamond shaped and made of glass with a gold shiny plastic lid covering. There is a gap near the bottom of the bottle where the spritzer is. The part where the perfume name is engraved is where press to dispense the fragrance from the spritzer.

The fragrance notes are:-

Top Notes: Neroli, Amalfi Lemon & Raspberry
Middle Notes: Jasmine, African Orange Flower & Gardenia
Base Notes: Patchouli, White Honey & Amber

I do like the bottle design as it is simple and compact. I absolutely LOVE this scent. It is my number one perfume ever and nothing compares to it! It is super long wearing and versatile. The scent is quite strong, but light enough to wear throughout the day if you don’t spray too much and you can spray more at night to smell sexy. I can spray it on and the scent lingers on any clothing I wear with it for days (mostly my raincoat). I like other perfumes, but if I had to throw the others away and just keep Lady Million, I would be perfectly happy with that. I would say it is quite floral because I can’t personally smell the individual fruit notes, but they must tone down the floral notes a bit, because I don’t typically go for floral based scents.

I will always keep re-purchasing this scent, until Paco Rabanne discontinues it, which I really hope they never do! I have actually already got another 50ml bottle and an 80ml bottle, even though I am still on my first bottle. It has lasted quite long because I am trying to use up my other perfumes. I find that I always choose Lady Million no matter the occasion, so I might as well try and use my other ones up, this way I will be left my LOVE! I 100% recommend anyone buys this. There is also a more masculine version of this scent for men (1 Million), but I personally would find the “female” version just as sexy on men, that is how much I love this scent. I don’t really care who is wearing it, I just want to smell it!

Glossybox #25 - February 2019

This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I prefer liquid lipsticks and I don’t feel the need to line my lips before applying it. | 1.20g - £16.00 | NAILS INC Nail Varnish in Status Ready This nail polish should be long lasting and super glossy. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Palette

I bought this palette back when it first launched (summer 2019) and I was interested in it so I could experiment more with bright colours. The colour selection definitely doesn’t disappoint and I was expecting it to be the same quality as the Blood Sugar Palette, if not slightly better! The packaging is quite a large rectangular shape and made out of metallic pink cardboard with colourful dots/dashes all over representing a jawbreaker pattern. The name of the palette is in a slightly raised font. It has a magnetic closing which you lift to reveal the twenty-four eyeshadow pans arranged on a white background. The other side is the same pattern as the front cover with a mirror. You can purchase it for £54.00 ($58.00) from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com and BeautyBay.com. You get twenty-four 1.50g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Shimmer (S) and Metallic (ME) finishes. e.l.f Earth & Ocean Palette

I haven’t purchased anything from e.l.f in the longest time. I happened upon a post of this palette on Instagram and the complimentary comments really peaked my interest in trying it for myself. Palettes I have tried from e.l.f. in the past haven’t been the greatest of quality; I kind of associate the brand as being for children, beginners or natural beauty wearers. I was also interested in the Retro Paradise Palette , but I thought I would get more use out of this one at the moment.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is quite simple with a clear/black outlined plastic rectangular shape. The fronting is transparent so that you can see the eyeshadows from the outside of the palette. It has a clip closing, which you push apart to reveal the inside. The square eyeshadow pans are spread out across a black base and the shade names are printed in grey font under each pan. THE EYESHADOWS & FORMULA You get eighteen 0.94g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Metallic (ME), Glitter (G), Satin (S) and Shimmer
