LOOKFANTASTIC Advent Calendar 2020

Tomorrow I start opening my LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar for Christmas 2020. I actually pre-ordered this on Saturday 5^th September and received it on Wednesday 21^st October. I have been keeping it in a safe place since then, extremely eager to open it! It was available directly and exclusively from the LookFantastic.com website for £85.00, with it actually being worth over £460.00!!. I purchased it on pre-order and I received a £15.00 discount as I was a Beauty Box Subscriber. It has now SOLD OUT.

It contains twenty-five days worth of products. It has a black and gold theme and each day has it’s own little numbered drawer, which contains the product for that day.

This is my first ever beauty calendar purchase. I don’t usually bother with them because they are so expensive, but this one didn’t seem that expensive and I also got a discount. I thought I would treat myself and try one out for a change.

I am mostly expecting there to be skincare products and probably similar items that I have received in the monthly beauty boxes. I have a feeling there will also be an expensive tub of face cream, maybe the ELEMIS Marine Cream?

Serial Sampler #16

I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is False Lashes Extreme Black by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. Birchbox #2 - July 2014

This is my second ever Birchbox (arrived yesterday) and I was interested to see if it beat last month’s box. I got another free lifestyle extra, so I am assuming you get one every month! Here is what I received this month:- Models Own Nail Polish in Sparkler | £5 – ModelsOwnIt.com | This is my first ever Models Own nail polish and it is from the Fireworks collection. Birchbox #8 - February 2019

My last Birchbox was July 2018 and I periodically re-subscribe. I only re-subscribed this month because you could get a FREE The Beauty Crop Espresso Yourself Palette. This is a sort of Valentine’s Day themed box and you get three postcards and two 15% off gift vouchers for the Birchbox website. You can use the vouchers to purchase any items you receive in your boxes. This is my first drawer type Birchbox.
