Empties #3 - December 2012

This is my last Empties post of the year and it is only the third one I have ever done, but I hope to use up a lot more products in the new year as I am having my bedroom re-decorated and I don’t want my draws cluttered with products, especially products I have no intention of re-purchasing. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation – 30ml I am the shade 100 Ivory, and this was my first bottle. I really liked this foundation and have already re-purchased it, but I will be trying a different foundation when my second bottle has run out. I have already reviewed this foundation, as well as the matching concealer so click here to read the reviews. £8.99 – click here! Dove Invisible Dry Deodorant – 150ml I am still using this type, but I have purchased a different one to see if it’s the same, because it is cheaper than Dove. £3.69 – click here! Soap & Glory Clear Here Moisture Lotion – 50ml I was using this product at night and it was very cooling and smelt really nice. I d

Review: Ted Baker 'Origami' Body Spray

I was interested in trying this body spray and I needed to get some things from Boots and noticed there was a 3 for 2 offer on, so I decided to get this as my free product. The bottle design is quite simple. It is a plastic cuboid shaped bottle with a spritz applicator. The cap is a gold colour and on the front of the bottle is a sticker showing various folded pieces of paper in shades of pink. You get 150ml of product in the bottle. The fragrance notes are:- Rose, Sandalwood, Raspberry & Vanilla It is definitely a strong mature scent, but still very feminine. I can actually smell all the notes, but the sandalwood stands out to me the most because I quite like sandalwood as a separate note. I think the hints of rose tone down the sandalwood so it is not so strong. Although it is a strong scent it is not overpowering, which I like. It also means this scent lasts a long time on your skin. It is definitely a scent I like but the sandalwood comes across a bit musky,

Perfume Collection 2012

Today I am going to share with you my perfume collection. As you can see I have them arranged on a small tea tray, I am looking for a nice silver one but I cannot find one anywhere, so I have to make do with this ladybug one. I also have a body spray on the tray because it is quite a big bottle and I wanted it out and displayed. I am a perfume addict, but I have not bought one for a while and I am trying not too until I have used some up. As you can tell, I mostly like celebrity fragrances and each one is different but you will also notice a pattern of fruit! The picture above is where I keep my perfumes. In my room I have an under stairs cupboard without a door. I call it my cubby hole. My Dad built me a unit for in there and I use it for storage, but on the top I keep my make-up brushes and perfume. When I have had my bedroom decorated I might do a ‘cubby hole’ tour in photos if anyone is interested. I will also eventually do a nail polish collection post. Now let’s get into w

NOTD #4 - RED'y for St James!

I decided to share with you what I am wearing on my nails today. I haven’t painted my nails for months because they are not in great condition, so PLEASE forgive the terrible state of them in the photos. Also my camera was playing up, so the photos don’t show the red true to colour. When my nails are in better condition, I will re-take the photos for a new NOTD. I used Nails Inc St James, which is described as a pillar box red shade. It only took one coat on each nail and I applied Barry M Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener All-in-One Paint over the top and I should have really applied it before the red shade too, but I couldn’t be bothered as I actually painted them late last night before I went to bed! My nails actually don’t look too bad in person, but my camera has a knack for picking up small details and exaggerating them! I may also do another NOTD for Christmas because I have a Barry M Nail Paint I have be saving for such an occasion.

It's Billy's Birthday Today!

I’M 1 TODAY!

Offer: Soap & Glory The Best of All

I just thought I would share an upcoming offer with you, just in case you haven’t already been notified. The big Soap & Glory The Best of All gift set, which is £60, will be on offer at £27 from Friday 14 th December 2012 in Boots stores and online at Boots.com , until stock has run out. It is £2 more than last year but you are getting more products and everything is full size. If you are interested make sure you get them straight away before they run out, because they will be very popular. PLEASE note, I think it is only for the larger Boots stores, but having said that my Boots had some last year and they are not a very big store, it just meant the stock was even more limited but I bought mine online anyway to save disappointment of missing out, because I didn’t know my local Boots was stocking them! £27 – Larger Boots stores or Boots.com – 14 th December 2012 You have been warned! Christmas Wishlist 2012 - Add-on: Too Faced Sweet Indulgence Gift Set

Hello again, I forgot to add this to the Christmas Wishlist I posted yesterday. I thought I would still mention it seeing as though it looks like a great gift. As you can tell by the title of this post, it is the Too Faced Sweet Indulgence Palette. Included in the set is a full size Shadow Insurance in Original, 2 blushes in Cocoa Rose & Sweet Pink, 2 bronzes in Chocolate Soleil & Sun Bunny Light, a highlighter in Candlelight Glow, 16 highly pigmented eyeshadows ranging from matte to shimmer, a dual ended eyeshadow brush and three how to cards. There are two sections to the palette and they come in a tin case, which is very pretty. Both sections can pop out and you can keep the top eyeshadow section in the lid part of the tin if you wanted to. Some of the eyeshadows are already part of the Too Faced range of cosmetics, but I think some of them are exclusive to this palette. Also if you ever manage to use everything up or want to keep them somewhere else, you have a n
