Last month’s box was the Retreat Edition and this month we have the Firecracker Edition with a berry and orange themed box. The six items inside the box should be worth over £58.00 altogether! This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I was looking forward to this box because the design is gorgeous! It is called their Style Edition box. Here is what I got this month:- Bellápierre Shimmer Powder in Whesek | 2.35g - £12.99 | I haven’t tried this yet, as I find loose pigments/eyeshadows very messy and it doesn’t really look like my sort of colour. Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro | £16.70 | I still can’t quite believe the price of this brush. It’s flat and the bristles are quite stiff. I am yet to apply eyeshadow with it, but I’m guessing it will be a little like the flat Urban Decay eyeshadow brushes I have. I definitely wouldn’t pay £16.70 for it! Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque | 250ml - £18.95 | As you may know, I’m not a hair girl so this product definitely doesn’t interest me at all! It does smell really nice and sounds like it would do a great job for colour treated hair, but I just wouldn’t use it. I decided to share with you what I am wearing on my nails today. I haven’t painted my nails for months because they are not in great condition, so PLEASE forgive the terrible state of them in the photos. Also my camera was playing up, so the photos don’t show the red true to colour. When my nails are in better condition, I will re-take the photos for a new NOTD. I used Nails Inc St James, which is described as a pillar box red shade. It only took one coat on each nail and I applied Barry M Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener All-in-One Paint over the top and I should have really applied it before the red shade too, but I couldn’t be bothered as I actually painted them late last night before I went to bed! My nails actually don’t look too bad in person, but my camera has a knack for picking up small details and exaggerating them! I may also do another NOTD for Christmas because I have a Barry M Nail Paint I have be saving for such an occasion.

I went and bought a Glamour Magazine earlier after seeing a post on someone’s blog, because I noticed they were giving away Nails Inc nail polishes again! I wanted the gold shade and was interested in the blue shade, but when I got to the shelf there was only one magazine left and it had the blue colour in it. I picked it up anyway! There are four nail polishes to choose from:- Motcomb Street – a navy blue St James – a pillar box red Glamour Glitter – a sparse gold glitter Elizabeth Street – a delicate nude cream After seeing pictures of Glamour Glitter earlier, I’m glad it wasn’t there, because it is not what I was expecting. I have a collective haul for you today, mostly nail polishes. I bought these items on several separate days, but I can’t remember exactly when, so I will group them based on where I purchased them from. From Boots I bought Soap & Glory Hand Food, which is obviously a hand cream, for £4.85, which is a bit on the pricy side, but I am obsessed with Soap & Glory products and you do get 125ml of product. I also purchased Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It for £7.40 also pricy, it is a facial scrub and mask all in one and you get 125ml. I bought Barry M Lash Modelling mascara in black for £6.19, Nail Rock Nail Wraps for Children In Need in Pudsey White Polka Dot and Pudsey Black Polka Dot for £6.65 each. And lastly from Boots there was a 3 for 2 offer so I bought two 17 Wild Metallic Eyes in Wild Nude and Wild Bronze for £3.99 each and a 17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Royal Indigo, which would have been £2.99, but I got it for free because of the offer.
