I believe this palette has been out for a few years now. I had seen it online before, but Too Faced products were not readily accessible to me at the time. I could only purchase them from LookFantastic.com and CultBeauty.co.uk. They didn’t stock the full range of TF products and it can take them a long time to get some of the products in. They tend to offer the main releases, but I guess this palette wasn’t considered a main release! The colour story attracts me, but I am not generally a fan of all matte palettes, so I almost gave this one a miss.   THE PACKAGING The packaging is small and compact; it kind of reminds me of the shape of a clutch bag. It is rectangular and made of gold plastic. It has a sort of gel covering on the front of the palette, which is raised. I did hear about this palette when it first launched a while ago, but the pops of blue to the colour story turned me off a little. I always loved the packaging design, but it wasn’t enough to make me buy it straight away. I eventually decided on purchasing it as a couple of Beauty Influencers I follow have recently mentioned the palette and they really like the quality. I was torn on whether to get this one or the Moon Spell Palette. The packaging for both attracts me so much, but the colour story of Strawberry Dream is more me. Sadly my palette arrived damaged! I had heard stories of this happening to a few people who purchased this palette from Beauty Bay. Luckily it was only one broken eyeshadow and it is a matte one ( Storm Cloud ). I could either send the palette back for a full refund or I could keep it and receive a 40% refund (£19.20). I first saw the tease of this palette on Trendmood’s Instagram and it instantly attracted me. I love the packaging and colour story, it just reminds me of summer. The design on the palette would also make a lovely and classy wallpaper pattern. This palette is part of the Limoncello Collection. THE PACKAGING The packaging is made out of cardboard, which is wrapped with a white, blue and yellow flowery and lemon design. The palette name and branding is printed in gold and the shade names are printed on the back of the palette. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift up to reveal the inside of the palette. The circle eyeshadow pans are arranged on a pale yellow, lemon skin textured base with the shade names printed above them at an angle in blue font. There is also a mirror on the underside of the lid. I now have four of these twelve pan palettes by Charlotte Tilbury. There is also another one called the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Eye Palette, which has a neutral smoky glam colour story. I believe it was released as limited edition in 2017. It is no longer available, so I am unable to get it, but I’m not overly interested in that one anyway. It is probably available on Depop somewhere. I am happy with owning just the four and I am eagerly waiting for Charlotte to release another twelve-pan palette, so I can add it to my collection (colour story depending). I did once say I wasn’t going to buy this palette in particular as it is definitely a me colour story, but I already have the shades in other palettes. I obviously relented and I do not regret it one bit! It does kind of give me Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette vibes, which is a palette I recently decluttered.
