As you can see from the title of this post, I re-subscribed to Birchbox again! My last box was February 2016, so it has been a while. I only subscribed again this time because I saw the preview of it on Facebook and I really wanted the tin. The boxes are usually made out of cardboard, but this month they have chosen a very pretty and re-useable tin. For those of you that haven’t subscribed to Birchbox before, the boxes are £10.00, plus £2.95 postage. The courier who delivers your box is Hermes. I actually hate Hermes because they never actually deliver my parcel; they throw it over my garden gate and leave it in the garden! Also, if you miss them, they leave you a ‘Sorry I Tried to Deliver’ card on the street and it doesn’t have any details on the card for you to contact them to arrange re-delivery, they are a horrible company! I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a FREE lipgloss sample I received a while back from an online Debenhams order I made. It is Sweet Peach Oil Lipgloss in Pure Peach by Too Faced and it is a 1g sample of the full sized lipgloss. It contains peach oil, coconut oi and vitamin E. These ingredients soften and moisturise the lips. The lipgloss is available in eight different shades and they all smell like peaches (they are supposed to taste like peaches too). The shade I have is described as a peachy pink. It is quite pigmented for a lipgloss and it does apply very smooth. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and it does feel moisturising. It also smells amazing! It is not as sticky as your average lipgloss either because of the added oils. You can buy the full sized tube for £16.00 and it is available for sale at Debenhams and TooFaced.com. ♥ ♥ ♥

I have a MAC haul today. I didn’t buy as much as last time, but I am happy with my purchases. I got a small bottle of the Prep + Prime Fix+ . It would have worked out less expensive for me to buy the full size bottle, but I just wanted to try it out and I wasn’t sure if I would use it very often so didn’t want to be stuck with a big bottle of it. I bought a Liptensity Lipstick in Smoked Almond (bright rose-brown) . I have seen these lipsticks online before and didn’t really know too much about them, but the packaging always caught my eye. I decided to pick one up and try it out. Lastly, I bought an Eye Shadow X 9 Palette in Burgundy Times Nine (Honey Lust, Poppyseed, Quarry, Antiqued, Embark, #Noir, Haux, Star Violet & Sketch) . The shades just appealed to me and I don’t own very many eyeshadows from MAC. I wasn’t expecting the palette to be so small. Each eyeshadow is just 0.8g. I always look forward to the themed Glossyboxes and this box just looks lovely. I love the colours and the little love design on the lid (better than last February’s box!). Inside the tissue paper is the same hot pink colour as the base of the box and the tissue confetti is white. Here is what I got in my Valentine’s Day themed Glossybox for February:- Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner in Dark Brown | 0.3g - £3.99 | This is a nice product. I like the colour and it could also be used for your brows because it is so soft and the tip is quite fine. It definitely doesn’t stay on for twenty-four hours. It is slightly water resistant, but not waterproof. It doesn’t compare to the Urban Decay ones. MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss in Rapture | 3.2ml - £3.50 | This looks like a chubby lipstick at first and when you take the cap off, it reveal the wide, flat lip brush applicator. I can’t believe that we are nearly half way through October already! It seems like the year has flown by recently. I wasn’t really looking forward to this box, but it has surprised me a bit. Here is what I received this month: So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil | £15.00 | I prefer a highlighter like Benefit High Beam, so it will be interesting to see how this works. It does come across relatively creamy for a sharp jumbo pencil. Talika Photo-Hydra Day Moisturiser | 30ml - £24.85 | Another moisturiser for your face is always very useful.  I can’t really see it being anything special. Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge | £6.50 | This looks quite a bit like the BeautyBlender, but has a different shape. I imagine it will do the exact same thing, but it is a lot cheaper option. A few weeks ago I took advantage of the 50% off offer on e.l.f products and I got everything on my wishlist. I haven’t made a purchase from them since December 2013 because the majority of the products I was interested in were always out of stock. This was due to offers always being on! Don’t get me wrong, the offers are brilliant but other people always get there first. But hey, I should just be happy I got my products now. From the Studio line I got the Lip Exfoliator , Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Soiree and a Small Stipple Brush . I also bought a Slant Tweezer and from the Essentials line I got a Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in French Lace , two Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks in Movie Star and Pink Umbrellas and lastly a Lip Balm Tint in Grapefruit . I was browsing through LookFantastic.com looking at Benefit products and I came across this gift set. What first drew me in was the tin, it is beautiful. I was also interested in trying the included products and I thought it would be a good way to try more products from Benefit. It is inexpensive and would make a lovely Christmas gift for a beauty junkie. The products are arranged inside a gorgeous little tiffany blue/lime green inspired tin.
