Today I finally got my hands on the Glamour Magazine August 2014 Issue. I had been waiting for two weeks because the gift brand is Clinique and I really wanted the issue with the Clinique Chubby Stick in and they were always the first to go, but I finally have mine! I really wanted a chubby stick, but there were four gifts to choose from overall:- Chubby Stick in Super Strawberry Chubby Stick in Woppin’ Watermelon High Impact Mascara Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+ I got Woppin’ Watermelon Chubby Stick and it is a nice light pink shade. The formula is very sheer, but very shiny. I can see myself wearing this a lot! You also get a free sample sachet of Garnier Moisture Match in Shine Be Gone on Page 57. In next month’s issue it looks like the free gift brand will be Elemis. I probably won’t buy next month’s issue because the only reason I bought this one was to get a chubby stick. Yesterday I picked up the new edition of Glamour Magazine, well three copies of them actually! It is the July 2013 edition and you get a choice of five free MODEL CO products and four different magazine covers ( Rebel Wilson , Zooey Deschanel , Myleene Klass & Daniel Radcliffe ). I have never heard of the MODEL CO brand before, but judging by their website, they are marketed as high end. I’m not sure what size the items in the magazines are, but I have listed the full sizes and prices below. I went and bought a Glamour Magazine earlier after seeing a post on someone’s blog, because I noticed they were giving away Nails Inc nail polishes again! I wanted the gold shade and was interested in the blue shade, but when I got to the shelf there was only one magazine left and it had the blue colour in it. I picked it up anyway! There are four nail polishes to choose from:- Motcomb Street – a navy blue St James – a pillar box red Glamour Glitter – a sparse gold glitter Elizabeth Street – a delicate nude cream After seeing pictures of Glamour Glitter earlier, I’m glad it wasn’t there, because it is not what I was expecting. I might get St James, but I will not be getting Elizabeth Street, as the colour does not appeal to me! When I was looking through the magazine I found two make-up samples.... The August 2012 edition is now out! I bought mine because I wanted to try the lip salve. There are four products to choose from this month, I’m only interested in the one item this time. This months ‘free’ items are from the brand Balance Me and they are sample sizes, apart from the lip product, which is full size. I have listed the other full sizes below. The July 2012 Glamour Magazine went on sale in the UK yesterday and I was excited because you get a free mini Benefit product. There are three products to choose from, That Gal Face Primer (7.5ml), The POREfessional (7.5ml) and BADgal Lash Mascara in Black (4g). I got the mascara and pore minimiser. I wanted all three but Morrisons had sold out of the one with the face primer, but I will eventually get that one too. I don’t actually read the magazine and I only buy them if there is a free gift I want to try out. I do look through when I buy it, but it doesn’t interest me because it is full of adverts and pictures. The magazine is £2, and there are not free gifts every month, but for August 2012 there is. I will do a mini review on all three products when I have tested them out. The full size products are listed below, BYE!
