I was hoping to have posted about this last Thursday, but it took a while for my box to arrive. There was an issue with some people’s subscriptions and it mean’t some orders were not generated for existing subscribers. The issue was corrected and I have now received my box. Last month’s box was the Birthday Edition and this month we have the Retreat Edition with an indigo themed box. The six items inside the box should be worth over £58.00 altogether! Here is what I received this month:- GLOV Hair Wrap | £14.99 | This hair towel is made of from microfibres, which means it is gentler for your hair. I use a hair wrap towel every time I wash my hair, so this will come in very handy. I usually prefer darker colour towels as white ones look grubby after a while. | Full Size - £14.99 | ECOOKING Overnight Foot Cream | 30ml - £8.10 | This foot cream is supposed to remove dead skin as well as moisturise. I have another Birchbox to share with you. I really like the watercolour design of this box. Here is what I received:- MANNA KADAR LONG-WEAR POWDER IN PARADISE | 3g - RRP £15.00 | There was a choice of two shades and I chose the shade Paradise, which is a very shimmery sort of cherry blossom pink shade. It is a blush which can also be used as an eyeshadow or highlighter. I chose the brightest one because I thought I might be able to use it in my crease, but I didn’t realise it would be shimmery or quite as bright as it is. I will hopefully figure out a way to use it on my eye, I most likely wouldn’t use it on my cheeks because of the shimmer and to be honest, the colour scares me a little! EYEKO FAT EYE STICK IN SATIN | 4g - RRP £12.00 | It is like a cool toned taupe shade and it is quite smooth to apply. It is not really a product that appeals to me. This is my second ever Birchbox (arrived yesterday) and I was interested to see if it beat last month’s box. I got another free lifestyle extra, so I am assuming you get one every month! Here is what I received this month:- Models Own Nail Polish in Sparkler | £5 – ModelsOwnIt.com | This is my first ever Models Own nail polish and it is from the Fireworks collection. It looks like a very pretty top coat, but I’m not sure if I would actually use it. Only time will tell! The August 2012 edition is now out! I bought mine because I wanted to try the lip salve. There are four products to choose from this month, I’m only interested in the one item this time. This months ‘free’ items are from the brand Balance Me and they are sample sizes, apart from the lip product, which is full size. I have listed the other full sizes below.
