I thought I would share with you what I got for Christmas this year. I did the same thing last year, but I don’t share everything with you, just the gifts that are relevant to my Blog content. I decided to treat myself to this little fragrance set. As you know, I am a perfume addict and I’m quite addicted to collecting perfume samples too! It’s this year’s Boots Fragrance Sampler set for Her. I saw last year’s advertised but I always thought it was a little expensive for what you get. The set basically contains eight samples of Boots best-selling female fragrances by other brands. The set comes in a small, thin cardboard box and each sample is set inside a plastic insert. You also get a small fragrance guide and the voucher, which is what you’ll need to get your full size bottle of your favourite sample. The eight samples in this year’s set are:- HUGO BOSS - Boss Ma Vie This is a 2ml sample vile in pipette form and can be exchanged for a 30ml bottle of the eau de parfum. “Inspired by the independent spirit of a woman, exuding a glow of femininity and confidence. I have been really looking forward to this box as I knew it would be rose gold themed. All the products were carefully selected by the Beauty Blogger ReallyRee, for this special looking limited edition Christmas box.  Here is what I received:- être belle Golden Skin Caviar Eye Roll On | 10ml - £30.66 | This product is a bit odd and really doesn’t appeal to me at all! So Susan Statement Skin Highlighter Pencil in Starlight | 1.8g - £15.00 | This is a very strange colour and the cream shape is odd too. I am not interested in this product one bit. I prefer light pink highlighters and this is a yellow gold shade, not flattering at all for my skin tone! COLLECTION Long Lasting Nail Effects in Touch of Glamour (31) | 8ml - £2.99 | This nail polish looks really pretty and it is definitely my kind of shade (rose gold). I am looking forwarded to trying it on my nails. I think it would look beautiful on it’s own. Hylamide Pore Delete | 10ml - £18.00 |

As you may or may not know, e.l.f stopped stocking their products in the UK some time ago and their website had a big sell off and closed down. But, it didn’t last long and I found out that you could order again via their website. I didn’t go crazy because there wasn’t really anything new and I don’t really have the excitement about the brand anymore. I bought a couple of necessities and a new product for me to finally try. I decided to get a Large Makeup Holder , so I could decorate it and use it to store my make-up brushes. I am thinking of spray painting it brown. I also got a back-up Blending Eye Brush . This is my favourite e.l.f brush and is perfect for applying colour to your crease. I got two more pairs of Slant Tweezers and lastly I decided I wanted to try the 3-in-1 Mascara because I have heard good things about it and before e.l.f stopped stocking in the UK, I would go to buy it but it was always sold out and then they didn’t stock it anymore for some unknown reason

I have another box to share with you:- MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed | 12 Eyeshadows - £4.00 | I actually already own this palette and it is a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I have enjoyed using this palette for a while, the shades are really pigmented, easy to blend and now I have two of them! Royal Apothic Body Lotion | 35g - £14.50 | As you know, I dislike body moisturisers so I will not be testing this product out. Emite Diamond Heart Primer | 15ml - £25.90 | This product does sound quite interesting, but I don’t really feel the need for a face primer. Eylure Natural False Lashes | 1 Pair - £5.00 | I have a confession to make … I have NEVER worn false eyelashes before! I like the look of them but I wouldn’t know where to start on how to apply them. I can’t believe that we are nearly half way through October already! It seems like the year has flown by recently. I wasn’t really looking forward to this box, but it has surprised me a bit. Here is what I received this month: So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil | £15.00 | I prefer a highlighter like Benefit High Beam, so it will be interesting to see how this works. It does come across relatively creamy for a sharp jumbo pencil. Talika Photo-Hydra Day Moisturiser | 30ml - £24.85 | Another moisturiser for your face is always very useful.  I can’t really see it being anything special. Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge | £6.50 | This looks quite a bit like the BeautyBlender, but has a different shape. I imagine it will do the exact same thing, but it is a lot cheaper option. I have finally given in and decided to get this palette. The first one never really interested me, so it was a surprise that this one did. The palette itself is tiny and made of a frosted nude brown plastic material. The logo and product name is shown on the front and is in a slightly raised font. When you open it up, there is a small mirror one side and the eyeshadows on the other side. The eyeshadows are 1.3g and all shades are taupe hued and complement each other. The idea is that all six shades are matte, but the first (lightest) shade from the Naked Basics was slightly shimmery. The first shade from this palette, Skimp , also has a little shimmer to it, but it is not extremely noticeable. I was looking forward to this box because the design is gorgeous! It is called their Style Edition box. Here is what I got this month:- Bellápierre Shimmer Powder in Whesek | 2.35g - £12.99 | I haven’t tried this yet, as I find loose pigments/eyeshadows very messy and it doesn’t really look like my sort of colour. Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro | £16.70 | I still can’t quite believe the price of this brush. It’s flat and the bristles are quite stiff. I am yet to apply eyeshadow with it, but I’m guessing it will be a little like the flat Urban Decay eyeshadow brushes I have. I definitely wouldn’t pay £16.70 for it! Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque | 250ml - £18.95 | As you may know, I’m not a hair girl so this product definitely doesn’t interest me at all!
