Glossybox #23 - December 2018

It is not long now until New Year and as you can see from the title, I have reactivated my Glossybox subscription, AGAIN! My last box was September 2016. I got this box for £7.00 as there was a ‘first box’ discount offer and the postage was £3.25. I couldn’t get the Christmas ‘All That Glitters’ box, so I was sent this one instead. The sticker on the side of the box said this was the ‘Glossy V11 Dec 18’ box. The products I received are:- WET ONES BE FRESH WIPES I have seen these wipes before in supermarkets and they are just usual wet wipes. I suppose they come in handy, especially if you carry them in your bag. | 12 Wipes - £1.15 | LUNA BY LUNA TRANSLUCENT POWDER I’ve never heard of this brand before and I have only ever tried one translucent loose powder before and I didn’t see what the fuss was about. I will give this one a go though because it is white based and I think the last one I tried was more skin tone based in colour. | 5g - $22.00 | GARNIER ULTIMATE ...

I purchased two Velour Liquid Lipsticks in Anna Nicole and Leo and Reflective Make-Up Bag in Dark Blue . I also wanted the Pumpkin Pie liquid lipstick from JSC, but it was out of stock. I am also interested in the Flamethrower shade as well, but it is such a bright block orange shade and it kind of sca...

I have been rather naughty lately and bought quite a few new cosmetics and I can’t wait to test them all out! I am a Platinum Member on FeelUnique.com, so I get 10% off any product from my favourite brand. I chose Urban Decay as my favourite brand over a year ago, so I get 10% off anything I order from them. I also made my first Superdrug.com order in a couple of years! I was interested in a couple of palettes and I actually got one of them for free be...

I don’t think I will share it with you though because I won’t be getting rid of much more stuff. ♥ ♥ ♥

Superdrug-ish Haul

I have a haul for you today and it is slightly hair and eye themed. I first went to Superdrug because I wanted some hair colour remover and light brown dye and I had heard of the 3 for 2 offer on make-up. I got two boxes of the ColourB4 Regular Hair Colour Remover and it is not cheap at £9.99 a box! They had a 2 for £6 offer on their own branded hair dyes, so I got two boxes of the Superdrug Colour Performance Permanent Crème Colour in 7.0 Natural Lightest Brown. It was also the only one I saw that was closest to the colour I wanted. I also took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer and got the Maybelline the COLOSSAL GO EXTREME! Volum’ Express Mascara in Very Black, Bourjois Color Edition 24H Cream Eyeshadow in 03 Pétale de glace and a Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent (free item) for my Sister. After Superdrug I went to Argos to collect a reservation I made earlier in the day. I have always wanted a hair curling wand, but one without a clamp and something tha...

SEVENTEEN Miracle Matte Pressed Powder

I bought this to try because I wanted to see if it was better than the Rimmel one because they are the same price and I love the Rimmel one, but this one has better packaging. Also SEVENTEEN did a Shine Away Pressed Powder, which was discontinued and I think this is the same powder but re-branded. I tried the Shine Away and didn’t like it as much as the Rimmel one, but I wanted to try this one just in case they are not the same. The packaging is a black plastic compact with the logo on the front and the inside of the lid is a mirror. You get a face sponge and a plastic cover which protects the powder and the sponge sits of top of it so that it is not touching the powder. On the base of the compact is all the relevant information. For application you can use the sponge that is included or your favourite powder brush. The formula is oil-free and you get 10g of product. I have the shade Natural Fair, which is the lightest shade. This powder is supposed to mattify your skin and ...

Blogmas #11 | e.l.f Haul #6

There was a 50% off offer (when you spent £20) on eyeslipsface.co.uk and I just had to take advantage of it. The sale had been on a few days before I got there, so I didn’t get as much stuff as I thought I would. A few shades of some of the items I wanted were sold out! I still bought some new things and everything I bought is new to me, so you should expect quite a few e.l.f reviews next year! I bought items from each of the three lines e.l.f currently has. From the essential line I bought two Lip Balm Tints in Berry and Peach , Clarifying Pressed Powder in Ivory and an Eyeshadow Brush . From the mineral line I bought two Mineral Lipsticks in Barely Bitten and Ripe Rose and a Mineral Eyeliner in Midnight . And lastly from the studio line I bought a Baked Eyeshadow in Pixie , a Blush in Blushing Rose and a pack of Lotion Wipes in Cucumber & Melon . I am very much looking forward to trying out these products, especially the lip balm tints. Hopefully in the Ne...

HELLO AGAIN, I am going to haul a lot of products which I have purchased recently or a while ago. Most of the products have not been mentioned by me before, which is why I am hauling them, plus hauling is an easy blog post and it seems to be what I am most good at, buying & hauling! I have probably bought more products than I am hauling, but these products are either recent or I remember them from not so long ago. Boots Haul #1

Today I decided to grab a few items from Boots and I took advantage of two of their offers, how naughty of me, but, why not? First I picked up some Rimmel items, two of which are repurchases seeing as though I am nearly running out of the ones I currently have. I bought a Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer in 010 Ivory for £5.99, a Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent for £3.99 and lastly I thought I would try something new as Rimmel have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment, so I received the Gently Eye Make Up Remover for FREE, but would have been £3.59 If there was no offer on. Last I picked up two items from 17, the Photo Flawless Skin Primer for £4.99 and the Falsifeye Mascara in Blackest Black for £6.49. If you purchased two or more items from 17 you received a FREE Electric Disco Purse Set, which includes three nail polishes, the Fast Finish Nail Polish in Nightshade, the High Gloss Nail Polish in Risky Red and the Nail Xtras Glitter Top Coat all 8ml, ...

Boots & Superdrug Haul

I went to Boots and Superdrug today to pick up a few beauty related items. I did not get everything I intended to buy as they were not in stock. I went back to Superdrug to get the NYC Lincoln Square Lavender, but it was still not in stock, by the look of it Superdrug haven’t re-stocked for weeks, grrrrr. I also went to find the new Barry M Nail Effects Crackle in Purple Rain but my Boots haven’t stocked it yet and my Superdrug was completely sold out!!!! So I was not very happy! But I still purchased some items, especially the powder I was after. From Boots I bought the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent for £3.99 and I received 12 Boot’s Advantage Card points. And from Superdrug I bought the Barry M Nail Paint in 301 Block Orange, which I a really bright orange colour. I had I list of colours I wanted, but this was the only one Superdrug has stocked! The nail paint was £2.99. I also heard that the Carmex lip balms were half price, so I purchased two Moi...
