Haul: Recent Purchases #5

I have been rather naughty lately and bought quite a few new cosmetics and I can’t wait to test them all out! I got the most stuff from FeelUnqiue.com and the products are from a couple of separate orders. I got the Benefit Boiing Brightening Concealer in No 1 , Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in No 3 and a sample/mini of the brand new Benefit Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation in No 1 . Also, because I bought two Benefit products on one of my orders, I got a free large Benefit Tote Bag . I also re-purchased a Rimmel Brow This Way in 004 Clear and got the new Urban Decay Beached Palette and a brush works Combination Tweezer Set . I am a Platinum Member on FeelUnique.com, so I get 10% off any product from my favourite brand. I chose Urban Decay as my favourite brand over a year ago, so I get 10% off anything I order from them. I also made my first Superdrug.com order in a couple of years! I was interested in a couple of palettes and I actually got one of them for free be...

My Eye Primers: The Verdict!

It has taken me a long time to put this altogether, but I have finally done it! I decided I wanted to share my thoughts on eye primers I had tried and it turned out that I had ten, so I thought I would test them and find out which one worked best for me. I have split them into two categories (High End/Low End) and I aim to rank them from #1 to #10 on which is the longest wearing. Let’s look at the primers I will be testing. HIGH END URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION PRICE: £17.50 SIZE: 10ml SHADES: Original, Anti-ageing, Freebase, Eden, Fix, Minor Sin, Sin and Caffeine APPLICATION: Squeeze tube without a nozzle, but also has a sponge stick applicator PROMISES: Non-creasing, gives you vibrant eyeshadows WHERE TO BUY: UrbanDecay.co.uk (UK) & Sephora (USA) I like to think that this primer is my favourite as I love the packaging (purple is my favourite colour). It is potion bottle inspired and it is the first primer I remember ever seeing and wanting. The packa...

FeelUnique.com Haul #1

I went a little crazy last weekend and purchased quite a bit from FeelUnique! I buy stuff from there all of the time, but I don’t usually buy this much in one go. I accidentally made my first ever NARS purchase. It popped up on the homepage and I just clicked it. It is the NARS NARSISSIST Unfiltered 2 Cheek Palette . It has six shades of pink toned shades for your cheeks and I am very excited to test them out. Plus the packaging is so sleek! I got two Urban Decay Eyeshadows in Mildew and Maui Wowie . I picked up three products from NYX; NYX High Definition Eyeshadow Base and two NYX Slide On Pencils in Purple Blaze and Tropical Green . I also got The Vintage Cosmetic Company Slanted Tweezers in Rose Gold , because they are rose gold! Lastly, because I spent a certain amount of money I could get two free samples. I chose the Benefit they’re Real! Push-Up Liner and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom EDT . I can’t wait to start using everything. Hopefully, nothing too ap...

e.l.f Haul #9

I wanted to share with you what I recently purchased from e.l.f. I kind of wanted to buy a lot more, but the products just don’t excite me the way they used to. Perhaps because I bought so many in the past! I got a couple of products I actually wanted and then chose the others to try. Everything I purchased is from their Studio range. I got the Nude Rose Gold Palette , which has ten shades of rose gold toned/inspired colours. Flawless Finish Foundation in Natural , which I believe is the lightest shade. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer in Sheer , which I have had twice before but I needed to pick up another tube as the one I had, dried out and I am working on a big eye primer review. Slant Tweezer which I have purchased many times before. And because I spent over £25.00 I got FREE shipping as well as a FREE pastel gift. The gift includes three products from the Studio range; Illuminating Palette , Smooth Matte Eyeshadow in Blushing Rose and Powder Brush . I bought the powder brush a...

Urban Decay Urban Essentials Eye Kit

I was browsing RosesBeautyStore and came across this set and bought it straight away. It is exactly the sort of set that appeals to me and Urban Decay doesn’t release kits/sets very often. The packaging for the kit is purple themed and kind of amethyst inspired. It has a card sleeve that you slide off to reveal the box itself, which is made of cardboard. It has a flip up lid with a magnetic close and when you lift it up there is a black insert which contains the seven products. Six of the products are full size and the seventh is a sample size. The insert can be removed and you can re-use the box. You get a 2ml sample tube of the Eyeshadow Primer Potion in the Original shade, which dries transparent. The full size 10ml tube is worth £16.00 and is available in three shades. I have used this primer before and already own a couple of tubes. It is a great primer and a trusted favourite of mine. You get three full size 1.5g eyeshadows, which retail for £14.00 each. ...
