Serial Sampler #25

I remembered smelling this fragrance a few years ago, when it was first released and I remember disliking it. I thought I would try it again to see if my opinion has changed as I know it is quite a popular scent. It is Decadence by Marc Jacobs and it is a 1.2ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. It contains a mixture of notes such as; Plum, Iris, Saffron, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine Sambac, Orris, Amber, Vetiver and Papyrus.   It does smell quite strong and it is definitely a floral scent. It doesn’t smell how I remember and it’s hard to recall why I disliked it in the first place! I actually think it is a really nice scent. It is kind of soapy (in a good way) and fresh smelling and I can mostly detect the jasmine and amber notes. I would say it is more of a mature scent and it isn’t my typical scent, but I do quite like it. I’m not sure I would run and buy a bottle of it just yet though! You can buy it in 30ml (£52), 50ml (£72) and 100ml (£98) and it is available a

BY BEAUTY BAY Fiery 16 Colour Palette

This is the third BY BEAUTY BAY make-up product I’ve tried and I did see it on the website when it first launched, but never picked it up. It was always sold out anyway so I couldn’t get it and the packaging has just been re-vamped for all of their palettes and all of the products were re-stocked. I decided to pick this one up because of the size, it’s not too small and it’s not too big. The nine shade version of this palette is all matte, and I really like shimmers/metallic and the massive forty-two shade version is too big (too many shades and too big to store in my drawers). I thought the sixteen shade palette would be the perfect medium. My palette actually arrived faulty; one of the eyeshadows is missing (Burnt Sienna). In the spot were Burnt Sienna should be there is actually a duplicate of another shade in the palette (Sunstone). Basically, I have two Sunstone eyeshadows and I should only have one. I don’t have the shade Burnt Sienna when I should have one of them (abov

Graze - Box #16

I thought I would share my Graze box with you today. I recently re-subscribed and my first one arrived Tuesday 14 th July. It has been almost six years since I last mentioned Graze on my blog, but I did keep my subscription for a long time after. I stopped posting about them as I am kind of picky with snacks, so I would make sure that I only received the few that I liked which means I was receiving the same ones over and over again, which would be boring and daft to blog about. I eventually cancelled my subscription, I can’t remember when but I remember I was receiving three boxes a week at one point. Graze seem to have added a lot of new snacks, but I have noticed that all my old favourites are no longer available! If you have never heard of Graze before, it is basically a subscription box for healthy snacks. You get four snacks per box and you can order as many boxes as you like. I set mine up again for one box weekly and the next available date for me was a Tuesday, so I w

Perfume Power! - Christina Aguilera 'Signature'

This was the first ever perfume I bought myself and I was still at school at the time. I only ever had the one bottle and it has been many a year since I used it up and last caught a whiff of this scent! I recently had a craving to smell it again, so I decided to get myself a bottle. The bottle is made of glass and has a sort of hourglass/silhouette shape. There is a black flowery lace design all over the front of the bottle. The bottle design is apparently inspired by a dress that the designer Marcel Rochas made for actress Mae West. The clear plastic cap is almost diamond shaped and it lifts off to reveal a spritzer, which you press down to dispense the scent. You can purchase it in 30ml for £20.00 from AllBeauty.com and FragranceDirect.co.uk. Launched: 2007 Type: Fruity with soft floral undertones. Classification: Eau De Parfum Notes Top: Black Currant, Tangerine, Exotic Fruits and Pineapple. Middle: Peony, Plum and Jasmine. Base: Vanilla, White M

Natasha Denona Love Palette

Natasha Denona released a new mini palette back in February and from looking at the colour story, I knew I had to get it. I believe it is a limited edition palette with Valentine’s Day and love being the inspiration. I already own the first mini palette (Sunrise) and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. The packaging is rectangular shaped and made out of a shiny light pink plastic. The brand and palette names are printed on the front in black block letters. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift to reveal the inside of the palette. There is a mirror and fifteen pans equally spread out with the shade names printed in white under each eyeshadow. The border around the eyeshadows is a metallic hot pink/red shade and the base that holds the shades is black. You can purchase it for £60.00 ($65.00) from NatashaDenona.com, FeelUnique.com and CultBeauty.co.uk. You get fifteen 1.28g eyeshadows in Matte (M), Cream Powder (CP), Metallic (ME), Duo-Chrome (DC) and Chroma Cr

LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #3 - July 2020

I re-subscribed to the LookFantastic Beauty Box in May and received my first box in June (Staycation Edition). I did enjoy that box so I decided to stay subscribed to see what July’s box (Sunkissed Edition) would have to offer. Last month’s box was a bag and this month we are back to the usual cardboard box. The six items should be worth over £65.00 altogether! Here is what I received:- MÁDARA Regenerating Night Cream | 25ml - £17.00 | This night cream is supposed to work best throughout the night, which is when your skin is best at repairing itself. It is supposed to help stimulate cell renewal, which should reduce fine lines and wrinkles. You should wake-up to brighter, more hydrated and more youthful-looking skin. I am interested in using this. I currently use a basic moisturiser at night, but I have been looking at upgrading to an actual night cream. I hope it is not too thick as I have used a night cream before and I could still feel it on my skin in the morning af
