I have purchased a hell of a lot of beauty related items between Christmas, New Year and beyond, I have completely gone mental!!! I can’t quite believe how much I have purchased or spent. I got discounts off the majority of the items, but it is still a lot to process. I thought I may as well share with you what I purchased. From BeautyBay.com, I got the Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Stack in Haze , ZOEVA Classic Brush Holder , RINCÓN Sugar Rush Palette and the BPERFECT Stacey Marie Carnival Palette . I already have three of the brush holders and I am also interested in getting another eyeshadow stack in the not so distant future. I originally saw this stack a month or so ago, but I was put off by the price, when I saw it discounted just after Christmas, I took advantage. My last Birchbox was July 2018 and I periodically re-subscribe. I only re-subscribed this month because you could get a FREE The Beauty Crop Espresso Yourself Palette. This is a sort of Valentine’s Day themed box and you get three postcards and two 15% off gift vouchers for the Birchbox website. You can use the vouchers to purchase any items you receive in your boxes. This is my first drawer type Birchbox. The last time I was subscribed it was your usual cardboard box with a lid and I think the products also came inside a little drawstring bag inside the box. Here is what I received this month:- LOC Liquid Shimmer Shadow in Eclipse I actually got to choose my shade of this product, there was Eclipse ( rose gold ) or Moonlight ( taupe ) available. This product is supposed to give you a subtle hint of colour and shine that can be layered for a bolder look. It has a water based formula and it should feel lightweight and comfortable on your lids, whilst providing long lasti

I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is  False Lashes Extreme Black  by  MAC  and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. It was easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. The effects do last all day, it is smudge-proof but not flake proof and I do like the small thin and precise brush. I was browsing on AllBeauty.com and looking at celebrity fragrances and I saw that one was listed for JoJo Siwa. I had heard of JoJo before, but I don’t really know anything about her. I clicked on it out of interest and when I first saw the image of the perfume, I thought maybe the wrong photograph had been uploaded until I clicked on it and saw the description of the perfume. When I first saw the photograph, before I clicked on it to read the description, I instantly thought, that’s Stunning by Katie Price! I looked into it a bit more and compared it to Stunning. This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I have tried many Christina Aguilera fragrances over the years and this is the most recent one I have purchased. The bottle design is similar to the CA fragrances and the outer box is also lace and flower themed. The bottle is a clear glass vase shape and is has a small black ribbon tied into a bow around the neck. The cap is diamond shaped and made out of clear plastic. It has the usual silver spritzer to dispense the scent. I purchased the 30ml bottle and it is available for £20.50 from places such as, AllBeauty.com and Sephora. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Italian Mandarin & Red Apple Middle Notes: Vanilla Orchid & Diamond Orchid Base Notes: Hinoki Wood, Ambergris, Heliotrope & Musk The vanilla scent is the strongest and it is kind of a classic evening time of scent.
