Don’t you just hate it when a brand discontinues your favourite product? Well, I certainly do! I thought I would share with you the products I wish weren’t discontinued. I have re-used some of my old photos for the products, I apologise for the quality. Here are the ten discontinued products I could think of so far:-   Avril Lavigne Black Star Eau de Parfum This perfume was launched way back in 2009 and it is still one of my favourites to this day. I haven’t actually smelled anything like it. The notes are; Black Currant, Mango, Pear, Jasmine, Lotus, Hibiscus, Musk, Sandalwood, Vanille and Mexican Chocolate. It was discontinued a few years ago, I’m not exactly sure when. I remember last seeing it for sale around 2013-2015. I don’t know why it was discontinued because it was a stunning fragrance. I used up my last bottle around two years ago and I am so sad it is no longer available. You can still find old bottles of it on eBay but bottles are being advertised for £100.00...

I have purchased a hell of a lot of beauty related items between Christmas, New Year and beyond, I have completely gone mental!!! I can’t quite believe how much I have purchased or spent. I got discounts off the majority of the items, but it is still a lot to process. I thought I may as well share with you what I purchased. From BeautyBay.com, I got the Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Stack in Haze , ZOEVA Classic Brush Holder , RINCÓN Sugar Rush Palette and the BPERFECT Stacey Marie Carnival Palette . I already have three of the brush holders and I am also interested in getting another eyeshadow stack in the not so distant future. I originally saw this stack a month or so ago, but I was put off by the price, when I saw it discounted just after Christmas, I took advantage. I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is  False Lashes Extreme Black  by  MAC  and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. It was easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. The effects do last all day, it is smudge-proof but not flake proof and I do like the small thin and precise brush. SWATCH PICTURE ABOVE: COPPERTONE - RED BRICK - CHROME YELLOW - RULE I thought I would share with you a few things I purchased from MAC recently. I got three Eyeshadow Pans in Chrome Yellow , Rule and Red Brick , a 15 Pan Pro-Palette Insert and a Powder Blush in Coppertone . Lastly, I also received a free sample of the In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara . I didn’t buy too much and I mostly made the purchases to get the three eyeshadows, plus I wanted a more neutral blush shade because I only really have corals and pinks in my collection. I plan on purchasing more cosmetics soon as I have recently got into face primers.

Today I have a review of the new MAC x Aaliyah Haughton Age Ain't Nothing Palette. For those of you who do not know, Aaliyah Haughton was an American singer, actress and model that tragically died in 2001 at age 22. She was a really successful and famous R&B singer at the time of her death. I remember hearing of her name, but I don’t think I had ever heard her music. I was 8 years old the year of her death, which may explain why I hadn’t really heard of her. I purchased this palette for £26.00 directly from MACcosmetics.co.uk. It is a limited edition product, but it is still available to purchase as of today. The packaging is made out of shiny plastic and it was specially designed in a metallic burgundy colour and it has Aaliyah’s signature printed in silver on the front. The packaging is a lot like their other nine shade palettes, apart from you can’t see the eyeshadows from the front, due to the signature design. I recently made another MAC purchase and I thought I would share with you what I bought this time. There are still a few other items I am interested in buying, but they will have to wait for the time being. I decided I wanted my own MAC palette after all, so I purchased the Pro Palette Large Duo Compact which will hold thirty MAC eyeshadows if you use the inserts and probably will hold a lot more without the inserts. I also got one of the Pro Palette Eyeshadow/Concealer x 15 Inserts to hold my new eyeshadows, it is a good job too because the actual palette isn’t magnetic, which is a shame. The eyeshadow pans do come with magnets attached to them, but you would have to fix a magnet to any other eyeshadow you want to store in the palette. I bought four Eyeshadows in Honey Lust , Star Violet , Sketch and Cranberry . I recently made three online orders and I thought I would share with you what I bought. From FeelUnique.com, I purchased three Urban Decay Single Eyeshadows in Chopper , Verve and YDK . I already have these shades in palettes, but I am going to declutter a few more palettes and these were my favourite shades from the palettes I am getting rid of. From MAC, I purchased three Liptensity Lipsticks in Brick Dust , Doe and King Salmon . I also received six free samples with this order; Neoprene Bag, Upward Lash Mascara , Prep+Prime Natural Radiance Base , Cleanse Off Oil , In Extreme Dimension 3D Lash Mascara and Strobe Cream . I actually had an issue with this order because they sent me the Matte Lipstick in Viva Glam III , instead of one of my Liptensity lipsticks. They let me keep the Viva Glam lipstick and then they sent out my missing Liptensity. A similar thing has happened to me before. It is annoying, but at least it can be easily resolved. I have another mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is Upward Lash by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to give your lashes high-rise volume, length and curl and be very easy to apply with the effects being noticeable within seconds. It has a moulded brush with a hollow centre which is supposed to retain a lot of the mascara product. The brush is smaller than a standard mascara wand and it should make it easier to apply. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It is very easy to apply and after a couple of coats you are good to go. I also found that it slightly curled the tips of my lashes. The effects hold all day and I do like the brush. I would definitely be interested in purchasing a full sized tube, but it will have to wait as I have quite a few mascaras still to test! I thought I would share some swatches of the last three MAC lipsticks I bought. I bought them quite a while ago and when I put them side by side in the tube, it was funny how similar they looked, but when swatched you do notice the difference. The lipsticks retail for £16.50 and you get 3g of product in the tube. The Velvet Teddy version I have is in the Shadescents packaging, which means you can also get a MAC perfume inspired by the shade. The shade is also available in the regular black packaging, but I chose this packaging because it was the same price and it looks more special. FAUX (S) - muted mauve pink TWIG (S) - soft muted brown pink VELVET TEDDY (M) - deep tone beige My favourite out of three is Twig and it is the perfect shade for the autumn/fall season. My MAC lipstick collection is coming on quite nicely and I can’t wait to buy more shades. ♥ ♥ ♥

Today I have a mini mascara to share with you. It is In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to give your lashes extreme volume, a deep black colour and give them a slight curl. I didn’t reckon much to this mascara at all! It coated my lashes in black pigment, separated them, made them look defined and gave them a slight curl, but no volume! I don’t know if the formula just doesn’t like my lashes or whether the brush is different. The brush kind of looks different to the full sized tube from photos I have seen, but I don’t know why they wouldn’t use the same brush for the sample because the brush makes the formula work. I’m guessing I would have to purchase the full size to find out, which I will not be doing. This was my first ever experience with MAC mascaras and it hasn’t put me off. I have a MAC haul today. I didn’t buy as much as last time, but I am happy with my purchases. I got a small bottle of the Prep + Prime Fix+ . It would have worked out less expensive for me to buy the full size bottle, but I just wanted to try it out and I wasn’t sure if I would use it very often so didn’t want to be stuck with a big bottle of it. I bought a Liptensity Lipstick in Smoked Almond (bright rose-brown) . I have seen these lipsticks online before and didn’t really know too much about them, but the packaging always caught my eye. I decided to pick one up and try it out. Lastly, I bought an Eye Shadow X 9 Palette in Burgundy Times Nine (Honey Lust, Poppyseed, Quarry, Antiqued, Embark, #Noir, Haux, Star Violet & Sketch) . The shades just appealed to me and I don’t own very many eyeshadows from MAC. I wasn’t expecting the palette to be so small. Each eyeshadow is just 0.8g. I recently decided to purchase this lipstick as it looked similar to Syrup, which is a shade I already own and love. It is very similar but there is a slight difference as well as Syrup being in a lustre finish. I have another MAC haul for you today. I’ve been naughty! I bought at bit more than I did last time and I did buy the items I have been looking at for a while. I mean’t to haul these products a couple of weeks ago, but I had a slight issue with my order. I was sent a Pro Longwear Blush in Whole Lotta Love instead of the Fluidline I ordered. I had to put a customer services report in and wait for a reply! I know mistakes can happen, but the blush was £5.50 more than the eyeliner I ordered and I was only charged the eyeliner price. I technically could have kept the blush and re-ordered the eyeliner, therefore saving £5.50 on the blush. The blush wasn’t the right shade for me anyway and I am an honest person. As it turned out, they sent me my Fluidline and they didn’t mention anything about me sending the blush back! I’m guessing they couldn’t re-sell it anyway because you can’t tell if it has been opened or not. Let’s get on to what I ordered:- I decided to buy two more Eyeshado...
